Always a joy. Just in awe of your boat. Hows the sailing performance of camara compared to other boats. It looks like going to weather, its a weapon relative to other cruisers.
Thank you! She goes well upwind, though she could do with new crispy sails! Unfortunately a new set of sails just hasn’t been in the budget so we are dealing with slightly more baggy sails...Her flat hull makes her shudder quite a bit when she hits the swell but it is an advantage at other angles of sail. Her fastest point of sail is at 60 AWA and she is unstoppable if the wind is on the beam or downwind.What we notice the most when we ‘compare’ her to other cruising boats it’s probably that we usually sail with a lot less sail up, yet we usually keep pace or sail faster and for sure more comfortably (flatter/less heel).
It wasn’t planned, it just happened that they also sailed to the Lau Group. They arrived a few days after us and after our friends accident we all shared a new bond with each other when we left this island.

I see the Sailing Family in that anchorage and there friends catamaran that's green and white. Was that planned?
