Awesome! I saw them for the first time on their Invincible tour in 2000. Saw them 4 times in 2001, including back to back nights up here in the Seattle area. Got to spend time with them after both shows. Best shows ever!!
I love this era of skillet a bit more than the current era cause of johns Hair and the way John sings in this era. I love all era’s of skillet but I always have a place in my heart for the era of skillet from 1996-2002
This is in the spring of 2002, which means this is the tour with Benjamin Gate and 38th Parallel. What an amazing show that was. This is so much fun re-living that night.
I was 16 alien youth just came out and I saw skillet for the first time front row center. I wish they played earth invasion and thirst is taking over for my concert. But I got to meet them after which made up for it :) they don't even play these songs anymore. :/
Skillet needs to do a Reunion tour and especially tour in Kenosha WI and Milwaukee WI And Play Songs From every Album and Era Including This Era (1996-2001 Era) and bring Every band member from the history of the band from 1996-2022. Including Lori Peters, Ken Steorts, Trey McClurkin, Kevin Haaland, Ben Kasica & Jonathan Salas, as well As their Current Line Up consisting of John Cooper, Korey Cooper, Jen Ledger and Seth Morrison.
do you have the Collide Tour from 2003, 2004 or 2005 if you do, that would make my day you can put them into 2 parts if you want 2003 - IDK 2004 - Doylestown Mennonite Church (June 2004) 2005 - Jackson Civic Center in Jackson, MS (February 2005)
Remember that these shows were way before the advent of the smartphone and the GoPro. Video recordings of concerts took effort, and security was watching for people trying to film.
