I think the turtle is just scouting for its nest and will come back at night to lay its eggs. It usually lays eggs at night time.
We been there last year Lads.. nice and quiet place... we stayed in Seda hotel just next to where you are on right...

Another secluded island is nice to visit to is Camiguin with multiple volcanoes, beautiful sandbar, waterfalls and a sunkin cemetery. Beth you remind me you have a sister from Sun Kissed Bucket List vlog. The couple were in Philippines not long ago. IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!

I think Lio beach is not busy at the time of your visit because of the timing you went there. I can see the its close midday when you came. All that scorching heat, no one would be around that time.
I know people flock around during sunset there.

That coconut is very expensive,.you can get it 3 for 100 in other places outside the resort and sometimes cheaper..
It's natural it quite expensive in the beach
