Stranger Love is hands down the BEST song of 2020. It encapsulates everything that's great about synthwave and then some. More than that, it's a modern pop classic and should be in the playlists of anyone who likes perfect pop. These live vocals are sublime. I'm a man in his forties stuck in a perpetual 80's movie. And I'm having the time of my f***ing life!

Stranger love needs to be played in radios worldwide! Best song i've heard since 2000 better than the weeknd - blinding lights...you're underrated! Your voice is amazing, everything is amazing, i'm really proud of you to bring back the best music ever produced...the 80's feeling...here in Portugal in Lisboa we have a disco called 2001 but it opened in 1979....even today before Covid is always full of people that love music from the 80's, it's amazing to see grandkids, fathers and grandparents all together in disco dancing to this songs, all 3 generations together! It's special like your songs, keep doing great music and please come to Portugal, you have already a BIG fan here and a lot more need to know you're music! 😀👍❤

Stranger Love, one of the most beautiful songs of all time. Every time I hear it, it invokes memories, sensations and a lot of empowerment. So much so that whenever I feel depressed I come to listen to it to recharge my energies. It's amazing the energetic power that music is able to transmit.

Hey Ollie. You seem to catch a lot of your comments so I thought I'd share: I grew up with about a dozen or so guys that have been my family since middle school. As we moved on from high school to college, we remained close and I was able to get together with them several times, despite being scattered across Indiana. During my time in college, I really got into this kind of synthwave and synthpop music. Sometimes I would reflect on the inevitable time when my friends and I will be split apart by our careers and where they're taking us. I think it's that bittersweet emotion of nostalgia and change that drew me to synth music, since a lot of it kind of carries those themes. And then, because of COVID, our last semester of college (AKA our last chance to truly enjoy being college-age friends) was taken from us. And now throughout this year a few of us have relocated away, one by one. I've felt frustrated and scared of not having all these guys together with me, like they have been for years. Sometimes it felt like the last familiarity of my childhood is slipping out of my hands like sand. Why am I saying all of this? Because after the few times I have been able to hang with most of them this year, while I'm driving back home, I like to listen to your songs with FM-84. I don't know how, but helps me think of my friends, and how much I love them. Somehow it resonates and helps me "exercise" these emotions of nostalgia, youth, and not letting go of the good times. Sometimes the emotion pours out of me a little, but it makes me feel better afterwards. Just wanted you to know how much your music can impact people. --Parker

I wish I could help you in some way, but I fear that all we can do is look forward.
I understand what you're feeling man. In my case I'm older than you. I was a child in the late 80's but somehow I do feel and understand the nostalgia of this music. It doesn't remind me of my childhood years or anything like that, funnily it reminds me of my years in college even though those days happened in the early 2000's and the music I listened to back then had nothing to do with this, but the situations, the romance, the awesomeness of those days connected me to Synthwave somehow and during 2020 I often found myself remembering moments, past relationships and the fresh smell of the night when everything felt magical. Whenever I listen to guys like Ollie and bands like the Midnight, they take my mind back to those days. I can safely say they saved me from going crazy. Their music helped me build a sort of cocoon, where past experiences and familiar faces waited for me every night. I always thought I could never go back in time, but these bands do exactly that. When you say the emotion sometimes seemed to be too much, I totally get it. Every night, while my kids were sleeping, I went back to my cocoon. Sometimes I smiled, sometimes I sighted, sometimes I cried, sometimes Ollie, Tyler (Lyle) and Nikki (Flores) even lulled me to sleep and entered my dreams, helping my mind create a haven, which often helped me make it through the next day.
I'm sure you'll have a great adulthood, Parker, because you're obviously in touch with your deeper self and because of it you'll never be alone. Never lose that!
And thanks Ollie, your music and your voice are a blessing, you'll never know how much you've helped us during these difficult times.
