- I've finally finished the garage, after waiting for the last of the lights to arrive to be installed, and thought I would give a quick walk through of the fully completed project.

That's a great diorama. I have worked in places that looked like that in the past. - especially the dismal break room! LOL! I want to build a garage diorama, but I can never figure out 2 things - first being is how big to build it and the second is how to lay out the floor.
I started by allowing space to work on at least two cars. Check out other dioramas and observe how different machinery is placed around their shops. I like to give my dioramas a history. I also like to place things to give eye movement, so that the viewer's gaze is constantly moving from one area to another. If you decide to build one sometime, contact me, or any of the other amazing dioramists on here and we will be excited to help you build a diorama.
@@TheModelingHermit Sounds good. I have my Uncle's Dykes Automotive encyclopedia from 1926 and it shows a few garage and automotive service shops and dealership layouts from that era to build as real shops, of course..but that is one good source for layouts.
