An Entrepreneur, Author, Columnist and Philanthropist, Rohini founded, “The Writing Experts”, an organization that helps organizations and individuals with content marketing strategy for building a strong brand identity. Rohini is the author of “ Doon - Displacement & identity,” a fiction and also a columnist on the Times of India Opinion blog. She writes about women, entrepreneurship, marketing and the society in general. She also edited and published a book named , “The Chronicles of Kashmir”, written by Mr. Balkrishan Sanyasi.
An MBA from Vlerick Business School, Belgium , Rohini worked in sales leadership roles handling Indian and overseas markets. Having started her career in sales, with Blue Dart Express, as a sales executive , she went on to become the business head of a large Kuwaiti business conglomerate namely KIPCO.
Being a mother and a professional herself, Rohini has witnessed the struggle which women go through in their lives while managing their careers and the family. She works with women owned business to advise them on branding and content strategy.
Amarnath Vaishnavi Foundation is the CSR initiative of Rohini which supports the education of children with limited means, living in Kashmiri migrant camps.
She was born and brought up in Kashmir Valley where she spent her formative years and she migrated to Jammu in the year 1990 as a result of turmoil.
