@@navminhas412 Eminem has very aggressive diss tracks as we all know. This one is simply a very well written, masterfuly structured and introspective song with disses. It's just a very crafty song and I truely enjoy it. Eminem shows how versatile he is and how mature he can be when he wants to.
@@navminhas412 I think that people bashed MGK's hook in Rap Devil because it did not match the song. Em is rapping about a bully and the hook is about a bully. In Rap Devil, MGK said something about a high road and some other stuff on the hook that did not match the song. If I recall, when the Binge EP came out, he had the hook from Rap Devil as part of another song and it kind of made sense in that song which lead me to believe that he took the hook from that song and put it into Rap Devil as a filler or something.
Fair enough. It does make sense as his comments are aimed at Em and are about Em. I just can’t really tie that into the title of Rap Devil, but agree to disagree. The diss was good. I’m not knocking it. Was just saying what I thought.
shyeeson Nah, hooks on diss records are fine. MGK’s song had a catchy sound, but the bars were weak as fuck. Having a nice sound is great and all, but without hard hitting punches, a diss track sucks. And Rap Devil was weak.

Eminem shows in his song his versatility and his craftiness as a songwritter. This is not a typical Em diss track. It's just a very well structured song that I really enjoy.

I've heard ppl talking like it was just 50 with Ja Rule. But Eminem had the white side locked, and 50 the black side (Obviously there was crossover). I would imagine the single worst move Ja made was the Hailie bar. Not just cuz of Em, but his Fans wouldn't have liked it. MGK's 1st week sales were a career low by 35%, and that was almost a year later, and in 2018.
