I'm glad you watched the video. If you disassemble the lamp switch, you will see that it has a momentary part inserted into it, so by removing that part it can be changed to an alternate type. It's not very difficult, so please give it a try.
@@May_happiness_come_to_you_777 Thank You very much for Your answer, I'll try it for sure. I'm glad I did find Your video because I was about to design a flip flop based circuit to obtain the same functionality with electronics; this way it will be faster and easyer. I already have the leds for dials illumination. Thank You again. Luca
@@May_happiness_come_to_you_777 Hi, I opened up the radio, I've seen the plastic insert in the middle switch assembly, I did open the assembly and removed the insert but it is not enough, a small slot remains open in the pcb and the switch lever does not find nothing to lean on , so I had to modify the original insert by dremeling it and adding a small piece of plastic. Maybe a replacement insert could 3d printed to perfectly fit the hole. Anyway , my switch is now an on off switch. I did also replace the two lamp bulbs with leds . Thank You for Your help ! Luca
The ferrite bar antenna works fine, but since the shooting location is in a reinforced concrete building, the reception sensitivity is low, so I connected an external antenna to the antenna terminal on the back. In order to inprove the reception sensitivity of MW, it is necessary ti install a coupler with an external antenna connected near the ferrite bar antenna.
Perfect scanning - very good reception !
I especially like the interference when tuning...
Прекрасный приёмник, использую его с 1979 года!!!
Hi, I have one RF-2200, a great radio, can I ask how did you modify the light switch from momentary to alternate? Thank You
