This video felt like a sleepover with a friend 😊 loved the cozy vibes. I sort of ghosted my - self proclaimed - "best" friend. I say sort of because I actually texted her letting her know that I didn't want to be friends with her anymore and asking her not to speak with me ever again and I explained that our friendship was not real and that I felt like she didn't even like me. But that was basically it, I blocked her after letting her reply and never talked to her again, this was like 8 years ago or so. I found out from a common friend that she took it really hard and did not understand why I did that. To this day I think I could have handled things better but it is what it is. She was extremely toxic, possessive and manipulative, thrived from my misery and was just bad for me. I couldn't handle it better than I did at the time, I just needed out and thought the only way to do that was to make her hate me. This to say that I believe most of the times when someone ghosts a friend...it's because their relationship is damaged and/or unhealthy. Generally speaking of course.

My sister stopped talking to our whole family.. to me... our mother after our fathers funeral. Nothing happend between us, no arguing or anything.. we were very close... I used to text her every day, then every week, she hasnt responded to any of my messages... I even begged her to contact our mother when she was sick and nothing... (I live in different country btw so I wanted her to be with our mom and help her and support her... but she doesnt care. When I think about it I feel like my heart is bleeding... I dont care about me but our mum doesnt deserve it... and I know from my nephews that my sister is fine... living her life. It has been almost 4years now

The last straw was when I got engaged so she made her bf propose to her (by threatening to break up) and then scheduled her wedding for 3 days before mine. Then everything I booked she had to one up it and she actually told me I should have Subway cater my wedding. That’s when I wrote her off for good and ghosted her. She ended up breaking up with her “fiancé” a 5 months later and I’ve been married almost 5 years now.... so glad she’s not in my life anymore. Sometimes you have to do that.

I normally ghost people who I just want to stop talking to because of some sort of action they did, or didn't do. Some sort of boundary was crossed, IDK.. Usually talking to them can lead to a fight, and I am at the point it is just easier to cut people off without explanation.

I've been ghosted by men and friends way more than makes sense.. like almost all of my friends ghosted me in early 2020, and my cousin/bff essentially has ghosted me now too. Men ghost me a lot.. I have major abandonment issues because of all of this and it honestly makes life so hard. It's essentially easier to just no longer let anyone in or close to me because I know they'll leave eventually anyway and it's just too painful.
