I wanted to ask as you said that application period for the MBB or big 4 is around October and jobs strat around February, as a Masters in Management student do we apply to these graduate positions while at school before graduating? Or do we apply after graduating and start working the next year (cause graduating period is generally summers) ? Also, after graduating from a MIM program is doing an internship good Idea or should I only look for the graduate positions?
Hello Sayantan! Most students apply during the beginning of their Masters programme during the October period. Whether you apply to full time position or internship it's up to you, some people prefer to try their chances with full time and others prefer to try applying for MBB internships

Realistically speaking, MBB usually hire predominantly from target schools however it is not impossible to get in coming from a non-target, you just have to try an unconventional route
Hello Damilola! I personally prefer management, however I don't think there are significant differences between the two so I would suggest choosing the course with the syllabus that's most appealing to you

yes - I already had an idea of what I wanted to do and my motivations were strongly geared towards consulting
