This is sort of comforting. A peice of some ones life stuck in time, messages with almost no context giving a window into what was going on in 91. It's almost got an avant-garde art peice vibe to it.

Hi, really cool video! I love that old school automatic voice saying the date and time of all the messages. Where did you get this taped? Was it your answering machine or someone else’s?

The 2 tapes were in a box of tapes I bought. I think the box came from Texas. So they are just someone's old messages. I like connecting the dots from the messages about this person's life.

@@Dwall44 The brand is Duofone. I did a quick search and I found a radio shack duofone answering machine, I'm guessing that may be the one, but not sure.

As a visually impaired/blind person who here’s a lot of TTS, (text to speech) voices I can’t get enough of that old voice saying the day/time of all those messages. Great video! She was letting the recipient know who was calling and that they should call her back, but she did not have anything urgent to say when leaving a message. Basically just a page.
