Miami is such a magical place. I love seeing the wildlife as you kayak through the mangroves. Ms.Kayak had a keen eye to spot the seaturtle to. Thank you guys!
Thank YOU Peter for your precious time watching it. Hmm...Miami has two faces, one for wildlife and antoher for pints.. parties for Nights never end. I appreciate your compliment that I found a sea turtle emerged its head. Actually there is a big fin right after..I am not sure it was a shark or sting ray came after a group of fish. Going to Raccoon Island is an adventure in itself as you kayak from the residences to the open sea and then to the mangrove forest and finally to the island. Getting there it's a delight to be welcomed by such adorable furry friends. That's quite an enjoyable adventure!

What a beautiful place to kayak. Liked all those mangrove trees and then seeing all those racoons was so neat. They looked super cute and how fun that they climbed all over the kayaks.

Looked quite the adventure and wise getting a guide who will take right to the best spots. Pretty cool seeing the trees roots above the water and the raccoons were very welcoming and cute 🙂

The welcoming party at the beach looks very expectant of the island's visitors! 🤗 Little Sandspur Island is also pretty nice and kind of heart-shaped. 🤩 Great kayaking today! 👌

It was, the raccoons rely on humans to help feed them since there are so many on the island and so little resources.

This is more the type of landscape I really should be exploring! Having grown up on an island I was always surrounded by the coast but never took full advantage of the life that surrounds it. I suppose that's because they are not anywhere near as beautiful ad the coasts of Florida! I absolutely love raccoons too! I guess they have a bit of a bad reputation in the US, but I have always found them to be such adorable fluffy little creatures. I even saw some tame ones when I went to Busan in South Korea, such wonderful little creatures
Kayaking to the racoon island is so relaxing, those forest is so rich, racoons are adorable, loved to come along 💗
