crypto has had ETFs on the Toronto Stock Exchange for years now, BTCC or inverse BITI among a couple. ETFs can be traded in tax sheltered accounts. Some people say BTC is like digital gold, for now. BTC halvings have historically lagged to bullish runs and are easily spotted on the charts - during election years in the USA.
Risk is sometimes interpreted in misleading ways. Sometimes it seems less risky to do nothing; my partner, for instance, thought investing in anything was risky because you could lose money. But doing nothing also loses money because of inflation. I wouldn't recommend investing a lot in crypto, but I do think its performance over the last ten years is unmatched by any other asset. It is worth considering.
I love reading them. Makes me think of one of the banks' investment commercials where there is a room of people representing the internet and two robots say "i am wall street trader"
Hmm, fiat currency I can use almost everywhere, or virtual currency I basically can't use in my home town and which gobbles up electricity at an obscene rate just to exist? Decisions, decisions...
@@Curling_Rack Oh, mining is definitely known for its environmental impact. That said, once you get the gold out of the ground, it doesn't require additional energy constantly just to keep existing, Perhaps if the technology and energy generation behind cryptocurrencies improve, it'll be a non-issue. Currently though, it's got too many cons for those of us who don't see it as a virtual 'gold rush'.
CBC you wonder why you are losing trust.. you have completely avoided covering the farmer protests in Berlin! Guess Justin doesn’t want you to remind Canadians about the trucker protests? Pathetic.
I really enjoy about that but tbis has to be one of the pointless most nothing episode produced. Its already been super easy and the people who care know how to. This is useless knowledge and i wish my tax dollars that created this content would focus on canadian issues cause this is just worthless. Its like putting out a new video "how to buy stocks"

Straight line to poverty except for the people at the top of the pyramid. Nope and nope.
Holding fiat money is a straight line to poverty, any savings you have will be worth nothing in the future.
Fiat money created by fractional reserve banking is the definite line to poverty. It steals wealth from the poor and gives to the rich.
Yes, we have already missed the deadline for those coins, but fortunately, we still have some possibilities, such Block Sailor BLOCK.
Block Sailor Token is the first token that governs itself and not owners or other people, making it the smartest token in the world.
The idea behind Block Sailor Token is new. It might alter the established financial system.
😏👍🏽
Block Sailor Token is gonna explode anytime soon
