    You can't get a better video than this one. I can only imagine how many people who gives instructions on how to connect your oxygen concentrator to your CPAP machine, & compared it to this video only to around & say "bite me." 😄 👏🏽 🌹

    I have a father who needs to use his oxygen concentrator when he uses his Bipap Machine. Originally we were told that he would just need to connect the Redmed Aircurve 10 STA Bipap Machine to the oxygen concentrator using the oxygen tubing connected to the bipap machine but he says that he feels like he is suffocating when he uses it. Is it possible that he needs an oxygen enrichment adapter for it or would his machine already have it built in?

      Hi, if your father has the OxyClimateLine tube (www.respshop.com/cpap-supplies/tubing/resmed-climatelineair-oxy-tubing-airsense-10-p-1061.html), which is a heated CPAP tube with a connection for an oxygen tubing, then he can connect the oxygen tubing directly to the heated tube. If he doesn't have the ClimateLIneAir Oxy heated tube, then he'll need an oxygen enrichment adapter. The enrichment adapter works with both heated and nonheated tubing and is a separate piece of equipment from the AirCurve 10 STA BiPAP.

      @@RespShop Thank you very much for the response. Just today he started using it again after we gave him a new oxygen tubing for his ResMed AirCurve 10 STA Bipap Machine and I put the machine on smart mode so he is using it now without any problems. Thank you very much for your update.

    I have an Inogen One G5 oxygen concentrator. Now I have a Resmed 10 CPAP. Can I connect these two together?

    • @RespShop
      @RespShop  8 месяцев назад

      Hi, the Inogen One G5 is a pulse dose concentrator so shouldn't be used to provide O2 to your CPAP. You'll need a concentrator that provides continuous flow O2 such as the Philips Respironics SimplyGo. But keep in mind that the SimplyGo only delivers up to 2 liters/min continuous flow oxygen so if you need more than 2 liters/min, it won't work.
      Please feel free to contact us at sales@respshop.com if you have more questions. We have medical staff who can help you with oxygen therapy questions.

    I wonder how old this video is? You did not mention the large tube Res Med has with an oxygen receptacle on one end of it.

    • @RespShop
      @RespShop  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, we made this video about 2 years ago. And you're right ResMed does have a heated CPAP hose that has a built-in end connection for oxygen tubing (ClimateLine Air Oxy heated tubing).

      @@RespShop = Yes. I'm using one now. Interesting FYI: Medicare or supplem. insurance refuses to pay for it. So if I want a new one it's $67. cash. I'm not sure if you are interested or not, but that's my complaint. Thanks for responding to me.

    Hello my philips everflo concentrator is unable to cope up when connected in this way to bmc y30T machine.. Seems like the bipap is pushing back the oxygen supply.. The patient spo2 drops progressively.
    Can someone please suggest a solution 😢??

    • @RespShop
      @RespShop  10 месяцев назад

      Hi, we suggest using an oxygen pressure relief valve with your setup to prevent O2 backflow into the BiPAP.

    But shouldn't there be a inline water trap filter with having the water

    • @RespShop
      @RespShop  Год назад

      No,it is not necessary unless the customer wants to use one. Especially if they are getting water in their o2 tubing.
