One thing I love so much about Onewe is that all the members are so different but so similar. Each of them have this unique personality when they perform. Kanghyun for example…he starts playing and he’s so into it he could get picked up and sat down in a NYC subway busking, or on stage with Carlos Santana, he just has a cool laid back style when he plays that could put him anywhere. Dongmyeong, it doesn’t matter the song, he gets to singing and gets this fierce look on his face like he may fight someone and you kind of wanna be like “dude, you know you’re playing keyboard and not stabbing someone, right?” Yonghoon….oh Yonghoon. When he sings his face…it’s like he has someone right in front of him that needs the song he is singing and he is going to tell a story just with his vocals. Doesn’t even need words. Harin is in his own little Harin bubble. He is zoned in on his instrument and that is it. Not the crowd, the other members, just his instrument. And finally CyA. Maybe it’s because he’s the maknae or pulling triple duty with rap/vocal/bass but he’s everywhere. He keeps everyone peppy and engaged in the audience, onstage. You can even hear it in how he raps. His words….they kind of bounce? Like all his words end on a higher inflection and makes them sound peppy. It is a wonderful combination only Onewe has. 🤷🏻♀️
This is my favorite version of their performance of Rain to Be. This acoustic version really highlights their voices (and Kanghyun's GORGEOUS guitar skills).
They are truly amazing! The lead singer's vocals is just OUT OF THIS WORLD. They are all so good. I just discovered them a week or two ago and I wish they get more recognition. They absolutely deserve a way bigger fanbase.
