@@forearthbelow Thanks man. About your question, I think the two squads are closer to each other (in terms of quality) than most people think. You have better GK and fullbacks and we have better center backs. You have a better 10 and we have better 6 and 8. You have a better striker and we have a better Rw. But the thing is, your squad has been doing it for a shorter period than us and when you play 40-50 games with this squad and gaffer, the teams start to figure you out, just how they did with us (look at how they've changed the way they mark our wingers, last season the center back and the full back would double up on them and this season their winger and full back would double up on them and the center back focuses more on odegaard or havertz.). I'll wait till the next season to judge your process.

As a Brentford fan, injuries have fked us completely this season. Lost both our wingbacks, our midfield for a large part of the season and also our strikers. Reguilon is a great acquisition and with Toney back we will defo have enough to stay up. In relation to Toney its a weird one. As we were paying his salary throughout his ban you would think he would stay at least through Jan, score a load of goals and increase his appeal for a summer transfer.

I'm saying that its wild to assume that he'll just easily adapt to a bigger club and score just as much or score more goals. 1 PL season, 20 goals. 2 seasons prior he was playing Championship and now he's also had a long time away from football, which could also affect him massively. Its not like he scored 20 goals in the PL 3 seasons in a row and showcased S+ tier mentality throughout those seasons. There's still a lot of unknown factors about him. Even 50 million would be a wild and ridiculous amount for him.

Agree with Buvey 60M would be a more reasonable price & Arsenal just feels right somehow, it feels like the missing piece to what Arsenal need like everyone has said. You could argue Spurs are league contenders as well but they don't feel as serious contenders as Arsenal.
