All hard right parties have socialist tendencies, check out how the right wing in Europe campaigns for free healthcare ( because most of their voters are old and have health issues). This has been the case for a long time. So, BJP can fairly be classified as part of the hard right, even if they have some socialist tendencies

And Poland under the Kaczynski brothers, their right-wing Law and Justice Party demonstrated everything but respect for Law & Justice. But the wider latitude ends there. Most of the left and centre-left is losing ground because of the wider disenchantment with the woke and globalist agendas which these political groups espouse. Centre-Left got carried away with what Gupta describes, which applies to everybody, including Merkel's CDU, which used to be centre-bit-right. And labour won England because the Conservative party had totally melted away, especially after making a lame duck in Sunak as the PM. Tories were always foundering towards the end of Cameron, in the middle of the 2010's. Their successive PMs, May, Truss and Sunak, just buried them, winning Labour a landslide NOT on its own strengths and merit, but for the split of the conservative vote, away from the Tories!

Labour won because the reform party split the Conservative votes. Now labour is more unpopular than ever before. Establishment politicians and parties are becoming unpopular and alternatives are becoming popular.
In Germany ADF will probably win big in the next election, not enough to secure the prime ministership tho. Le pen's party in France became the kingmaker despite the entire political establishment uniting against her. Turdo is gone and the Trump wave is going strong.

Problem with many leaders is that they are highly undemocratic even though they themselves came through a democratic process. A leader should be a consultative one, taking along everyone even the opposition, taking their opinion and explaining if disagreeing. Do not bulldoze what you think is right on everyone just because you think that is right. So many popular leaders have suffered sudden fall of their popularity due to this syndrome.

Nobel price winner Abhijit Banarji in his interview type conversation with Rahul Gandhi suggested that govt should distribute cash to poor. He suggested cash transfer to 60% population in the times of Wuhan virus. The ecosystem echoed his suggestion. Thank Sriram that Modi govt didn't do that else we would have faced same problem as Canada.

10:15 Where did you got that 67 cent per liter of gasoline as the carbon tax ? Currently is $80 per tone of CO2 and there are about 2.3kg of CO2 per liter so that will be 18.4 cent/liter very far from that claimed 67 cent/liter you mentioned. Also most people get all that money back.

this growing trend of moving to the right is IMO a good move away from the far left we were getting pushed into. The narrative was being affirmed in our minds. If the people are voting against it, it clearly means they want to get out of it. Polls are the best levellers for the politicians and their ideologies.

The problem with these types of analysis is that it tries to explain every political issues as well as political developments in terms of a simple binary of left and write. In fact, what do these terms refer to? It is quite rediculous that this casual non-explicit terminology has assumed such a mystic and occult power in 'scientific' discussipns of social or political phenomena. What was reformist in the era of its origin is no longer reformist. What was once 'left' for Europe has been the ruling 'right' in colonies. Once the term referred ( ofcourse without any accountable definition) to economic policies, now it refers to 'racial' and religious preferences ( which were 'right' categories some times back).

Your overall analysis is good and comprehensive. However:
    1) You failed to talk about the carbon tax rebate individuals and businesses get back. A family of four (2 kids) get $1,200 to $2,160 annually back as rebate depending on the province, rural/urban, number of children etc.
    2) You have fallen hook, line and sinker for Pollievre's debunked "printing of money" theory. Please do a bit of more research and also listen to/read Mark Carney's speeches and writeups. Pollievre has never worked in the real world. He spews well rehearsed statements. He would be worse than Trump and a disaster, to borrow PM Singh's words.

justin is no different from his father, who started the blunder of supporting khalistanis. justin is only in his foot in mouth situation because of his india policies. he is a proven hypocrite. he kept his interference with indian matter like farmers protest but back home was going against protestors in has backyard. so much for his right of liberty. without shred of evidence he made allegation against india just to please another khalistani in his cabinet. he forgot that a guy who wasnt loyal to his own country could never be loyal to any one. justin should have gone long back. any way the new guy from his party nor the opposition party may not be different than him especially in terms of india's interest but as they say politics can make strange bed fellows.
