dude the idols talking about other groups is so wholesome to me (on the lightstick one) its so dumb that fans wanna scream at each other for it when the group themselves r ok with it lol
I wouldn't say it's cute tbh. Korean idol culture is different but most prominent thing different than international fans is that you shouldn't be a multi. You have to be loyal to just one group. So going to a concert with someone else's lightstick is like saying "I'm not your fan". It's easier to explain it with the videos here. Mamamoo noticed NCT lightstick. So it's like saying "I'm an Nctizen supporting Mamamoo, not a Moomoo". Aespa asked about Twice lightstick so it's like "I'm a Once supporting you, but not your fan". It's not about respecting/disrespecting idols or something. It's simply about the message you want to give to your faves
