Unfortunately, I am honour bound by request of my psychology professor to always tell everyone who brings it up that the 16 personality test is bullshit and no better than a vaguely more sciency astrology. That is that it can be a bit of fun, but don't take it seriously at all.
I have a script I made last year that was similar to this but over time it evolved into something else. (Mine also had the Leviathan in its original version.) Mine has the Damsel, because minions know they're in play. I added the Huntsman which effectively knows that the Damsel is in play. I added the Alchemist which effectively starts knowing an out of play Minion. I removed the Lunatic from mine because I didn't like putting it in bluffs. I recently swapped from the Magician to the Poppy Grower.
While this is true, Magician is a 'you think' style of ability (albeit a 'they think' more accurately). But with 'think' roles (Drunk, Lunatic, Marionette), you can give the player the impression of things that aren't true. It has been ruled that if a Magician is seated next to a Demon, you could make the Demon think that the Magician is the Marionette. You could also do this if the Demon is seated between the Magician and the actual Marionette, in which case you would inform them that both are their Marionettes. I... wouldn't advise this.
@@CTBOTC If that's supposed to be the official ruling, then that needs a jinx. There is nothing in the plain text of the magician that would imply they can do anything beyond be viewed as a minion/demon in the minion info phase. Also... this interaction isn't mentioned anywhere in the wiki.
@@TheFinalChapters "The Demon thinks you are a Minion" (but you're the magician.) compare this to "You think you are a good character, but you are not." or "You think you are a Demon, but you are not." or "You think you are a Townsfolk character, but you are not." If you think you're a Townsfolk, your information can be altered to make you think you're a Townsfolk. If you think you're a Demon, your information can be altered to make you think you're a Demon. If you think you're a good character, your information can be altered to sell the idea that you're a good character. (such as learning there's a Widow in play when there's no Widow.) If the Demon thinks you're a Minion, the Demon's information can be altered to make you look like a Minion. If this is about the Demon knowing who the Marionette is because of an ability outside of its own, the same can actually be done to the Drunk, or the Lunatic. Lunatic can learn 3 minions, as if there's a Magician, or not learn their minions, as if there's a Poppygrower, they can learn that someone is their Lunatic, as if there's a Lunatic, and they can learn that someone is a King, as if there's a King.
@@mawillix2018 Hm... you make a compelling argument here. Even so, the wiki does not back this up at all. If this is true, it should be updated accordingly.
I love both! I think while Duchess isn't as sexy and flashy as Matron, it does serve a great purpose on scripts like this where the script is lacking ongoing info and/or evil agency for misinformation.
Any risk? No, not necessarily. This entire idea is why Lunatic is on Laissez Un Faire. I wouldn't say its risky, per se, and if you were inclined to give the Lunatic their own fake Lunatic, this would be the type of script to do it on

I've never taken those tests
Random panic gonna random panic when you’re next to a demon candidate
It do be like that

That sounds fun to me!
Magician doesn't have any minion abilities, so they wouldn't have the marionette's ability for the demon to "know" them.

I always get confused between Dutchess and Matron and it's always disappointing when it isn't Matron.

Is theiy're any risk in giving a fake lunatic to a real lunatic in a leviathan game, since the demon makes no choices?
