Thank you, sir. It is a gift for the rest of us, now. (Btw, I seriously don't understand why there's not a lot more commentary here. This show was fucking legendary.)
Wow. Such a real treat. ...so surreal for me. I was about 14 years old when this was made. ...back when I still looked forward to Christmas, still shy around girls, and just high on life. They where all around late 20's. ...bright eyed, hopeful, and unknowingly on the verge of a great career, and life journey. Now, I'm 36, been through alot, and things got really, really complicated. These guys, way past middle age, are now older men. Mystical...how nostalgia just takes you...
I realize it prolly isn't from the first season but the "give me a tea you bastard" skit--- every time someone in the house is seen making or drinking tea, the question is always posed (by whatever family member): "Having a tea, you bastard?" Gender doesn't matter on this one. Had the marvelous opportunity tonight to show my 21 year old daughter where it came from.
Everytime I hear that Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet song start, I feel like it's the 90's again and I'm ready to have an average weekend. Awesome inside look, thank you Allan for posting it. (I know it was 13 years ago. Punctuality escapes me.)
This is delightful! Thank you, Allan Novak, for putting this out there for fans to enjoy! Everyone was so young and excited and did such a tremendous job, and I know my friends and I all loved, absolutely loved, the absurdity of TKITH and we’re always excited to watch.
This was really funny, thanks for uploading this for kith fans to see. On a side note, I find it really cool that they all feel so comfortable with each other that they can kiss one another (on the cheek) even off the set (like Dave does near end with Scott). As a female I hate when guys are insecure about their masculinity/sexuality. I think that's a big part of why I find the kids in the hall so great.
Without a doubt one of the KITH's biggest cultural influences was educating and exposing their waspy fanbase to more adult and chill sexual awareness in jokes/reference/honesty. Scott especially is a really important cultural influencer of Gen X Canadians. The Kids kinda prepared us for the 1990s and the world we live in now.
I always remember being completely blown away when I saw the random cute girl he's kissing in that sketch from about 3:15 there on Star Trek Deep Space Nine...what a career jump, from a random extra in a sketch comedy show to a major role on a Star Trek series...yay Ezri...
In all seriousness, it really is true that we cross paths with famous people all the time. I emigrated to Canada from the States as an adult, and one thing I learned right off is how much less haughty celebrity culture is in small countries. Just to cite one example, I - a nobody - have met 3 prime ministers, including the current one. Which is three more than I had any chance of meeting presidents when I was a Yank.
Thank you for sharing this with us. Can they possibly know what they meant, and continue to mean, to us, the 80's and 90's fans that know their sketches by heart? On my darkest of days they can still make me laugh. I love them so. (But not in the creepy way, it's more the, ya know, healthy kind of stalker NO NOT STALKER ahem... It's more in that healthy kind of obsess.. NO... The normal amount that a normal fan does. Yeah.) 💖
wow, thank you so much for sharing this! as a huge kith nerd watching something like this is a real treat and it must have been an honour to work with these guys. did you work on all 5 seasons or just the first? again, thank you!
I was indeed the editor and made this as Christmas gift to the cast and crew. It hasn't been seen since we screened it in 1989!
Allan Novak wow!😃
Thank you, sir. It is a gift for the rest of us, now.
(Btw, I seriously don't understand why there's not a lot more commentary here. This show was fucking legendary.)
Ty for this...saw them live in CT a million years ago. Their breaks are hilarious live
This is indeed a gift.
Just found it now. Thank you!
Christ on the cross shouting "Jesus this hurts!" , now THAT's comedy

Kevin at 2:00. OH MY GOD I'M GOING TO CRY. HE'S SO CUTE.
YES came to say that! And during the cabbage head skit when they cut to him laughing and his eyes are wild. 😭💔

For those that asked, yes these were all in front of live audiences, often it was the first of the two tapings
I went for one of them. I can still.pick out my laugh in the videos!
I grew up with these boys and after all these years they still make me happy and laugh.
Peter what the FUCK are you doing? LMAO!!!
Only 7000 views?? This is an amazing piece of comedy history. One of the only funny sketch comedies ever. Still hilarious today. Thanks for posting.

I didn't know it was possible, but this somehow made me love kids in the hall even more than I already do. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Two minutes of blacked out silence at the end is a really nice touch.
Scott's blank was awesome.
:) Always fearless, even at that moment.
'Jesus! Fuck this hurts!'
...best line ever said by a guy playing Christ on the cross
Best show in the existence of shows

I love baby Kevin so much. Gods he was so adorable when he broke character.
and I love how he says, "Scratch Christ's nose."
I had a big ole crush on these guys!!😍😘🤗
Lisa Jordan we don’t use “crush” that’s for kids. It’s so overused these day it’s annoying
@@ChildofGodforevr good for you

@@ChildofGodforevr oh and calling yourself a child forever isn't childish at all lmao

It’s a French/Canadian thing

Oh, my lord... Kevin and Scott at 1:35 - 2:25. I don't know why, but I found them so adorable, especially Kevin at 2:11.
I always remember being completely blown away when I saw the random cute girl he's kissing in that sketch from about 3:15 there on Star Trek Deep Space Nine...what a career jump, from a random extra in a sketch comedy show to a major role on a Star Trek series...yay Ezri...
And here I was hoping I'd somehow missed (and then could see) Terry Farrel...
Scott is playing yet another waiter at the end of filming. :D
I love them!!!! ♥️ I was a kid back then. Thank you, sir.
I bet there’s 5 guys out there who could do KITH 2.0!!! I’m ready! GREAT SHOW💗

Thank you for posting this, it's amazing
Note to Christian Bale, 3:07 is how you curse at someone breaking your focus.
The day I discovered Laura was Nicole De Boer, is the day I realized there are about 25 people in Canada and there all famous.

@3:30 I thought that was Dave Foley, but that was a REAL girl?! I never saw that one! "Kids need their privacy!" Ooh la la! Hot snoggin!
