I'm using c200 now and will upload my new Travelogue using it in middle of this October. 1- Battery can use about 7hour standby for lite usage. 2- Using at outdoor activities it's quite hot body just can use around 100minutes 3- Using indoor it's seems like you need a good lighting at all. 4- If you want to make some reviews@singing i really suggest you make it inside your car cuz sounds really great like you feel you are in the studio if not the sound quiet seems so slow at all.
Thanks for the comments! I am using the C200 from time to time and it does a good job for sure, too bad the sound is not that great. You mentioned 70 hour battery though, Should that be 7? Thanks for watching!
@@AlienDrones I'm sure you've experienced about the sound that I'm having it right now. I need to use external mic until now i don't know if exactly c200 really bad at sounds just video or maybe there have another model comes out. *my typo sorry 7hours standby for lite usage
I'm glad to see this review. I have an action camera that falls in the middle pricewise (a Crosstour CT9700, $90), and I'm quite happy with it for my purposes. It's nice to see a review of cameras that cost considerably less than a GoPro that could be quite useful for people on a budget.
Thank you for watching and your thoughts! I thought this as well, the "gopro" types are $500, $600 or more, but these lower models might be a fair value depending on how they are used. I didn't know you could even buy anything worthwhile for $30, learn something new everyday they say!
Hi Mr. Alien Drones. I've come across your channel recently while looking for Drone Law guidance which has been very helpful. When I seen this video I had to watch. It seems that the SJCAM C200 came out a little ahead in this one, especially the video quality and stability. I like the sound better on the Action Camera though. These little cameras are very useful and have lots of different modes in them. I have 3 of the smaller Action Cameras and I use them all of the time, not for full real time videos usually, but for time lapse videos. The wide angle makes for great scenery coverage. The battery life is not great > . > I usually get about 45 min to 1 hour on a full charge. I have learned a great trick to overcome that though. I use a battery power bank and hook it up to the micro sd port and it will run off the power bank first then the internal battery. I've done overnight time lapse videos on a 5000 mha power bank attached and it still had some life left in it at dawn. Also the waterproof cases on these work. I haven't ever had an issue with water getting in. You do have to be mindful of condensation due to temperature difference inside and outside the case but otherwise those cases work great. I haven't figured out how to prolong battery life without compromising the waterproof integrity yet. ^.^ I know this comment was long, but I've captured some great stuff with these little cameras and wanted to share my experience with them. Have a Great Evening!
Thank you very much for watching, the great information and the kind words! I'm newer into action cameras myself and your thoughts are something to consider for sure! 😎 Good Flying!
I'm assuming that the 4K sports cam shut off because of the battery. That's pitiful. The video was definitely of lower quality, but the sound almost seem better as it was muted and did not pick up as much background noise. But the other cam definitely seemed to have a more sensitive mic. Now for merely $30, that would be a great toy for a kid. Beyond that, the other cam was definitely worth 130 bucks. I assume that the Wi-Fi on the 4K sports cam was just for downloading videos and pictures. Quite frankly, I would just remove the SD card and transfer files that way. It is always much faster than Wi-Fi in my experience. Thanks for the review Keith!
Hi Keith When I started flying, I was looking for a camera for my quads and I had purchased the 4k camera but it didn't last , not that it was bad, but I crashed a lot.
Interesting! Probably a fair use if the drone stabilized it a bit, how did the footage turn out there? Maybe that's a good application for an inexpensive product like the 4k, and if you crash it you're not losing a $500 camera...
Thank you for watching! Indeed, the SJCam did pretty well. I applied a small amount of post stabilization to some of the footage just to see and it came out nearly perfect. I tried it with the 4K Sports and it was just a bit too shaky to even stabilize, came out like a fun house mirror... 🤡
I do not know anymore, it was not so easy to find as Sjcam does not provide a page. You need to use FW version 1.5.3 dated Sept. 2023. It is completely other camera performance after that. There must be significant bugs in processing the gyro data in stock FW. Now I can go down stairs and all is really smooth. It performs like first generation of Hypersmooth in Gopro. This is no joke or nonsense. I love it since then and use it in 1080 mode, works like a charm and the battery endurance is great. Allways with me in case my Gopro decides to show me some of the bugs like sudden battery 0%... For the procedure, I found some YT video. Please tell me your result if you succeed.
SJCAM C200 looks much better. I just spent over $500 for a pocket 2 for my daughter to have for one college class. Of course I can't tell how it would do in low light conditions but from where I'm sitting the SJCAM C200 would have done the job just as well and I would have money left over for lunch. The action cam......., yikes! I think it might do better if it were mounted on a gimbal, the audio was recorded separately and I took my glasses off, that thing is rough!
Tactfully put! LOL. I was surprised that the SJ 9000 wasn't a _little_ better regarding the stabilization, though honestly I wasn't sure what to expect for $30. Not sure how this would work as an action camera even in very forgiving environments. Maybe underwater it would be smoothed out and be usable...
If you look at the little box at the bottom, there is one segment when I test both audio and there's a little microphone icon that pops up when I'm using that microphone: The audio test starts here: ruclips.net/video/sgVHF-oNNsg/видео.html
@@AlienDrones just fyi, for the majority of your viewers I'm sure that's fine a little tiny thing that lights up on one small segment of the video to show you which one is what, but since I don't see well I never saw that, could I ask in the future when you test audio to underline the segment if the audio comes from, a little tiny thing like that is hard for me to see, and possibly hard for others to see as well. I really enjoyed the comparison, that's my preferred way to view things like that side by side, thanks very much for your response and thanks for the review and the video.
That SJ 9000 is garbage. I have a $50 camera that is identical to the SJ900 that I use when off roading and the video quality and stabilization is about the same as the more expensive camera.

Thanks for uploading this. QQ: Does the C200 have an upside down feature?
Of course! You turn it upside down and you appear upside down... Voila!
Nice video test but shouldn't this video be uploaded in 4k 2160 resolution and not 1080?

Great review. Sjcam would be my choice!

You need to upgrade firmware on C200. It makes great stabilisation afterwards!
Where is this firmware update available? Stabilization along with the resolution not being the greatest I abandoned using this model long ago.

Bad FW version, no more existing web reference, but this the correct update procedure:

So nice of you, thanks for taking the time to comment!
The c200 was far superior in my opinion.
Indeed, I thought it did a fair job as well, too bad the audio was so static filled...

On the C200 can you lay it vertical?
You can turn the camera or there is a setting that switches to vertical mode as well...

c200 is cheap and good enough than dji action cam 2
The SJ9000 actually looks more like a children's toy, the quality is actually so bad.
Indeed, pretty rough. Interestingly though the sound was better than the C200...
SJCAM C200 должна стоить 30 долларов, а вторую даже бесплатно не покупать.
