In short, they watch many small videos from smaller creators, they react to things and don’t cut it, watch many videos of them, don’t plug them really, don’t say much, or just make comments that don’t add substance, usually it’s 2 or all of these. Most of the time it’s taking views away from the creator because they get recommended the reactors videos instead. If they were to watch the original 12 episodes of that person they would be put in the viewers recommended and add to the creators growth. The react content defense is “it’s exposure” and people will go to the video, however statistically you get maybe a few hundred, or however many depending on the streamer, (one streamer had 10k viewers see the videos and the creator being viewed only got around 100). Basically it’s common sense, you see few videos on one dude and there’s no need to watch the original if you’ve watched a dude react to many episodes from that smaller creator. They’re bottom of the barrel low effort content that churns out millions for each creator. Sorry if that didn’t make any sense, DarkViperAU explains it much better with great examples in better detail on his channel. I recommend it if you’re interested
