thank you for mentioning disneys invovlment at the begining..
Thank you Cord Cutters News
Tcl+ is good. Hopefully it will add channels as they go.
If Venu is really $40-$50 a month for the basic package, and you know there will be tiers soon enough if not from the start, then that’s way too high for one streaming service that doesn’t even have all the sports.
Thanks Luke.
Enjoy your channel! Thank you for your truthful diligence!
Was time for a wireless carrier to buy a cable company. They can install 5G antennas everywhere.
Thank you
LG do have a free ad supported streaming services and it's really good
It's DISNEY. You KNOW they're gonna go for the highest price they can get away with. 🙄 Thank you for your videos! Love your channel!! ❤
Wouldn't every company? They are in it to make money.
Love your channel. IT would be great if you could separate your content into chapters.
You can read the transcript to skip over any parts you’re not interested in
A la carte tv would be amazing!
spectrum tv choice
Hey Luke, what are your thoughts about Tubi starting their own wrestling promotion to stream on their service?
i think it's nuts that they're a month away but don't have a price released yet.
There still waiting to see what streaming services fold between now and then so the can figure out how many customers they can rape.
Cutting costs. Executives get a bonus or you keep a job. We know what is most important.
Capitalism.....that is how it works.
My TCL Google TV won't launch the TCL + app. Just thought I throw that out there.
Sensible people don't use the TV OS for streaming. Get a Nvidia Shield Pro!
@@erniem1731 TCL has either Roku or Google TV, just like HiSense.
@@lycanhd sensible people would rather purchase a $50 streaming device than $100+, since they'll never use half that performance.
Why wouldn't they have CBS Sport because of the college basketball tournament. CBS goes with TBS, TNT and TRUTV
CBS is owned by Paramount. Tru TV, TNT and TBS are owned by Warner Brothers. Warner Brothers, along with Fox and Disney each have a third stake in this new service. Paramount and Universal are not involved.
Sports package won't work without CBS.
Since when did ISP become Pirate Police?
Because it happens through their internet service. 😂😂 I just sit back and watch what's happening.
Its probably in the contracts the signed with the studios to show the programs over their cable TV or streaming services that they have to use some sort of piracy prevention software/service or the like.
And for peacock peacock is a competitor streaming service their not just gonna do that on RUclips TV
Why should it be an ISP's job to police the internet. Are they going to pay the ISP's to perform this function, or are they just expecting them to do the leg work on that free of charge?
Yeah I agree. It doesn't make sense.
Sounds like they want ISP’s to monitor everything every customer does on the internet just in case….. Big brother is watching..
It was probably in the contract the ISP signed with the studio that the ISP had to institute anti-piracy systems. I'll bet it was pretty fuzzy and ill-defined, and that's where the problem is - how do you define when the systems are adequate in a world of every-changing ISP software, tools, and hacker sophistication.
@@crosslink1493 I doubt that contract exists.
My knee jerk was $49.99 but that mouse is greedy so $59.99 with a 3 month “promotional price “ of $34.99
So in regards to the Venu Sports Streaming Service, does that mean that ESPN Plus is being separated from the Disney Plus Bundle? Also are some of the other networks listed here are going to be removed from RUclips TV and other services since they're going stand alone here?
Nope. Espn+ and the espn upcoming standalone will remain seperate
Why don't they just create a service where customers can buy content and have systems in place where we can buy the content and have a digital copy we can download to our device where we can keep them forever so we have a copy on there service when we are out and about and we have a fully paid for content downloaded to our servers for us to use when at home which will save money on there and our bandwidth making it simpler to Sony, Nintendo, xbox where we buy the content and its downloaded to our device
I really don’t have a question, but I really like the streaming service is coming out in the next month
Good morning, Luke, I have a question? Will more professional sports teams be leaving Bally Sports before next Monday, that is day begin their bankruptcy hearing? Will their be headed to over-the-air TV and streaming service just like the Florida Panthers? Will be launching their own direct-to-consumers streaming services or RSSN just like the Dallas Stars?
I couldn't care less about sports and Netflix! I'm forced to pay for Disney and ESPN with my Hulu plan!!!! I don't want it!!!!
RIAA??
Luke, it's great that you don't pay for channels you don't watch, but wait-you will now pay for sports you watch, too. Do they think that there are that many people who watch all sports all the time? Football fans may subscribe from September to February, but I doubt they will keep it after that. With the billions these companies are paying for licensing rights, they had best be right that millions of people will shell out $40-50 per month. For each billion they pay out for licensing rights, they will need 1.6 million subscribers for a full year. But wait, you say, they will have ads too. While that is true, is it also true that ad revenue is drying up? As more and more ads make their way to streaming services, there will be far less ad slots that can command big dollars. Unless they develop a way to put 10-20 million eyes on a program, they will be very hard-pressed to bring in major ad dollars. To me, this seems like a big gamble by the streaming companies and one that could be a disaster if it does not play out the way they think it will.
Hey if you like me you wish you would have gone into sports broadcasting because you love all sports or at least the major sports.
Suing internet providers for not stopping users from pirating sounds like something that Nintendo would do
No. Ninty would directly go after the offender
Live TV!? Nice, until found out Disney is involved. Will never support that company
😂😂😂
Same.
Crybaby! 😂
😂😂😂😂
I hope you don't watch college sports on espn or ABC
its might be a paid service
No thanks. I rather go outside then sit on my ass watching trash, getting unhealthy, and give them my money.
