It's clear that she still saw Zod and Desir as family, and she felt that by rewriting history she could create a happy world for her family. Whether he's capable of going back one more time and doing it right or is able to find happiness, it doesn't matter, her motivation never changed and her goal was accomplished. As a villain she's more of a "the path to hell is paved with good intentions" type villain
I read the entire light novels/manga, and something keeps rising up in my mind. What If he isn't just a Regressor. What if he's a recursive? And they're seeing this happen over and over and over. Not just the original timeline. But all the times he's failed in his regress. Over and over and over.

I think there are three more novels (webtoons) that I know of, that would qualify lazy swordmaster, trash of a counts family, omniscient readers viewpoint regardless whether others agree with me, all three are very good novels... the webtoon of lazy swordmaster doesnt do it justice tho, and the webtoon of ToCF is ssooo behind the novel, that it is rather advisable to just read that instead

actually I first read the light novel of this and I thought they did a good job with the ending but this is a manga only thing in the light novel they never see/he never tells that he is a returner and when I saw this in the manga I was so glad they did it this way they can realize why he pushed everything so hard and they can help his burden and I wanted to see they're reaction to this so Im happy the manga changed up a lot of things from the light novel
@@barbatos9441 No I think he hinted it a lot that he would end up with Adjest, it was a while since I read it so correct me if Im wrong, so with Romantica it sounded nice but she didnt have that "adult" mindset which the returned Desir had so they couldnt bond that well but Adjest learning how to be the queen she had to develop faster then her age thinking about it this way she could form a better relationship with the returned Desir, Adjest being beautiful and actively talking and searching for Desir, I didnt find it unbelivable that they end up together sure Romantice had her moments but the author wrote more scenes with Adjest and Desir bonding romantically and I dont think its a bad development.

Yeah, it was different that in the novel is based on. In the manhwa version it was decided to show the struggles he got through. That and they changed the romantic interest, maybe to give a more emotional hook to the story

This scene was incredibly satisfying and sad to see all of this journey of suffering of Desir, but the saddest part was seeing how broken Romantica was realizing that he loved her from the start and how poetic it was that she only knew he corresponded her after his death.
Same for her but they never had the time nor the freedom to tell each other in this timeline. What is worse for her... seeing how the man that she loves and now knowing loves her back, had to endure her death and with that the los of his love. Imagine u had a wife, dies under such a tragic circumstance and u have to see how much pain ur death causes her. And it dosn´t stop there. She now knows for sure that he loved her. But on the other hand, she also nows that this time he is dead. (even if that changes but at this point she dosn´t know)
I agree but remember animation takes time to make and some don't even get a anime adaption ,I agree after watching the first episode I was disappointed,I wish it had gotten a better adaption but it is what it is,😢

The two girls reminds me a lot of the two main chicks in Evangelion (hell, Romantica even have the same design as Asuka) even in behavior, to the point I see the way they treat Desir (in this case, Romantica being a tsundere but not going to annoying lengths as others) as just an extension of the personality and not the nature of the relationship itself. That's why in the manhwa we can see how Romantica is always being supportive of Desir, tease him but also doesn't want him to be alone, something that she recognizes but don't want to admit. A classical tsundere, just like Asuka (of course, not being as a abusive as the latter)

If it takes ~50 chapters to make one season we wont see this specific scene until season 5 of the anime if they make that many, but second season was announced when the last ep of first season aired.

The author did put Aaron's death in this chapter. If you look at one of the panels where Luna says "Next" a bunch of times, showcasing other people's death, you can see a panel where Desir is looking down at an arm that's risen up with a hand that's flat down. That's Aaron's death.
But I think it's gonna be with adjest because from the previous chapter, mostly romance scene was with adjest. So it would be little weird if it ended with romantica in my opinion

When He returned to the Past He began giving attention to them (his teammates) making them stronger than their Past in order for them to Survive for the upcoming Battles they will face.

this is exactly why I consider this as the peak of regression manhwas. They did things that other manhwas failed to solidify, the regressor's past life. Most Regression manhwas feel alienated because they only put regression as a pretext for the story and forget about it most of the time along the story. This manhwa emphasized the cruel past of the MC without sounding overly repetitive or boring
The burden is carry he doesn't have to the courage to face her that he truly loved her and you can't change the fact that you going to take the long painful death are you.
People are correct to point out that the story got a little to unfocused towards the end, but this chapter alone was enough to justify it for me personally. Ive always wanted to see a returner story explore showing other characters the timeline their MC left behind.

That's what makes him an mc, not an overpowered main character who can defeat everyone in one move. He has his limits, and that's what makes him so relatable, it makes him human. And seeing the powerful enemies, it reminds us that power is not everything to win a fight.
The thing is, the MC is weak as shii, his companions are weak as shii, and the enemy is the literal world destroyer that has lived for centuries. Still, the MC wins due to some obscure skill which isn't even that unique. This just makes me feel like everything happens for plot progression. There are many stories that have a weak MC but still are pretty good with consistent power scaling. And then there are stories like this where every win is based on luck.
there was a very nice little detail that I didn't notice until I was deep into the chapters but the MCs eyes don't have any kind of brightness at all no reflection or anything since he is basically just looking at moving corpses no matter who he looks at

@@JamesEDonaldson Theres another season already in production. Season one covered up to chapter 53 I believe and this scene is chapter 262. If it takes ~50 chapters to make one season we wont see this specific scene until season 5 of the anime if they make that many, but second season was announced when the last ep of first season aired.

But the manhwa isn't directly following the novel. Since this scene never existed in the novel. Which means there's room for the ending to change too

The author did put Aaron's death in this chapter. If you look at one of the panels where Luna says "Next" a bunch of times, showcasing other people's death, you can see a panel where Desir is looking down at an arm that's risen up with a hand that's flat down. That's Aaron's death.

this is exactly why I consider this as the peak of regression manhwas. They did things that other manhwas failed to solidify, the regressor's past life.
Most Regression manhwas feel alienated because they only put regression as a pretext for the story and forget about it most of the time along the story. This manhwa emphasized the cruel past of the MC without sounding overly repetitive or boring
The burden is carry he doesn't have to the courage to face her that he truly loved her and you can't change the fact that you going to take the long painful death are you.
People are correct to point out that the story got a little to unfocused towards the end, but this chapter alone was enough to justify it for me personally. Ive always wanted to see a returner story explore showing other characters the timeline their MC left behind.

The thing is, the MC is weak as shii, his companions are weak as shii, and the enemy is the literal world destroyer that has lived for centuries. Still, the MC wins due to some obscure skill which isn't even that unique.
This just makes me feel like everything happens for plot progression. There are many stories that have a weak MC but still are pretty good with consistent power scaling. And then there are stories like this where every win is based on luck.

there was a very nice little detail that I didn't notice until I was deep into the chapters but the MCs eyes don't have any kind of brightness at all no reflection or anything since he is basically just looking at moving corpses no matter who he looks at
