Yeah sometimes. It’s a great choice close up but I prefer the Pump Action. It has the tightest spread and longest range of all the shotguns. If you’re using the ‘Winning Streak’ ability card you will get a massive damage boost to shotguns in particular so the pump will do nasty damage from much further distance than any other shotgun. The LeMat Revolver under barrel shotguns are as good as the Double Barrel shotgun also. Same firing speed and not much difference in damage while using Winning Streak. They also have a tighter spread, and the obvious advantage of also being revolvers. Use Gunslingers Choice along with Winning Streak and the LeMat Shotguns will receive a Double damage boost. . The only other shotguns you can do this with are the Sawn Off shotguns but they have an extremely short range, and no revolver option ofcourse. LeMat Revolvers, Carcano Rifle, Evans/Lancaster Repeater. PIB, Gunslingers Choice, Winning Streak and Iron Lung ☝🏼 this set up allows you to carry everything you need and do massive damage with your revolvers/shotguns, aswell as good overall damage with your other weapons. Just swap out your defensive card for whatever you prefer and chug tier II tonics. No more deciding wether to take a shotgun or a sniper rifle. You can carry both using the LeMats. People sleep on them. Best Revolver in the game in my opinion.
@@a3ephony654 I mean, in terms of "best revolver" I think they all occupy a unique enough niche that they really come down to a question of playstyle, or rather what you need at the time. I'm not big on the Lemats myself, though the underbarrel rocks. Who can deny almost navy power, seven shots AND a shotshell? You just can't get the drop on lemat users, I swear lmfao. I myself carry one sidearm like, 90% of the time, and since the double is usually the only longarm I carry I end up switching sidearms a lot. Cattleman, Mauser, Navy, DA, wish I wasn't dogshit with the schofield lol. I run S&S, Iron Lung, FMO & Winning Streak, it's of course a subjective thing but the double barrel carries a TON of effective damage & kill distance in my experience, but I still need to try the pump in online. Does Gunslinger's Choice effect single side arms? The removal of bloom on initial ads sounds like a ton of fun to play with, especially with the Mauser. And I suppose while I'm asking questions, how often do you get knockdown with the pump? I get them constantly with the double barrel, from a good distance too.

Gunslingers choice will eliminate bloom instantaneously when you aim though, if you’re looking for more ‘instant’ accuracy. Maybe something to try with S&S but it only works with duel wielding so you’ll have to grab yourself an offhand holster if you haven’t already. And yes the pump will put people down from a good distance. At close range fire from the hip though. It has a slow fire rate so hip fire eliminates the problem at close range. Pump is best used with PIB though. For S&S I’d probably stick with the Double Barrel tbh.
You must create a persistent posse. go to ‘Posse Settings’ once you’ve created it and select a posse outfit. Any posse outfit that includes a hat will ensure you respawn with a hat on your head 👍🏼
