When you reached out wanting to try them, I knew you'd pull some killer sounds out. Glad we could get you a couple units out to play with. Thanks for checking them out!
Loving that guitar more every time I see it! I was going to buy myself a new guitar for my 50th birthday this year and to commemorate playing for 35 years but I may have to wait for the Rabea Signature model to come out. 🤘
I agree! I really enjoy John's stuff but I don't know how many people actually know about him. He definitely deserves more credit tho. Especially since he's recently had his kiddo and is still putting out brilliant content
The Saber does look nice (probably because it's a ripoff of the Ibanez S/SA body shape) but I can't stand that headstock shape and I'm not a fan of the super chunky bridge.
@@marklnz lol, They're all ripoffs of the strat body shape and we all know it. It's not like anyone's opinion outside Rabeas matters though either lmao
@@thefloop2813 So there are two points - the Ibanez S/SA series are not a ripoff of the strat shape - they're actually quite different - if you want to put it in terms of Fender guitars then I'd concede that perhaps the best you could say is that it's *inspired by* the strat shape. But - and here's the key point - they're waaayyy thinner. The S series is known for being carved super thin at the edges. Plus it's got a bit of an offset shape to it. It's really very different from a strat. As far as opinions mattering, it's true that it's Rabea's sig, but presumably Ernie Ball want to sell production versions of it eventually so I'm sure they don't want to make something that nobody in the guitar playing public with disposable income would buy lol. And of course, I *was* referring to their Saber range in general, rather than Bea's sig in particular.
Awesome Rabea,I love Origin Effect’s I have a larger Cali76 txl reissue on my board ,it’s big but it’s going nowhere I’ll stack overdrive on top of the unit if it comes to it. It’s great to see you are doing so well.
@@bobflemming100 I’ve tried both, but for whatever reason I prefer it after dirt. I use a Vox Valvenergy Silk Drive going into it for a Dumble inspired tube tone, and the SlideRig tightens it up for my percussive funky style. Sounds great 😊
Im thinking of picking up the DCX boost as I already have the revival drive, so thinking they will pair well - more so then the MEQ and the revival, hmmmm
I wonder what colors Bea’s picking out for his signature guitar. Should be interesting. Bought a quad due to this guy. After hearing him and well watching some good videos re the product. Had passed on it several times but got it. Love the feel and sound and the UI. Although, not into rap, the Stormzy concert that was when I decided. Blinded by your Grace was beautifully played. Sounded great and the opening was epic. That I think is when Rabea’s life was going to take a turn. Great demo guy, Jack of all trades player literally. Humble. Rare find. Have the original revival drive and the halcyon. Gotta stop buying every pedal for now I come across.
Your tone is always so good anyways. But I do think these pedals make you sound like you only better. I saw Henning 42 demo these as well and he got some great sounds. Bottom line is they are pretty good pedals and they looks to be sturdy build. Hey your tone is always so good, probably one of the best guitar tones on RUclips. But it does really sound like you only boosted or driven. Thanks for the time...
I want to buy but I fear their exit buffer’s stats….WAY TOO HIGH A SETTING for such an expensive pedal. The exit buffer is not much better than Boss Waza. Mud city? Won’t buy because of this spec….wanted to….but no I won’t.
Rabea don’t know where to put this. and if you’ll ever see it. Best fuzz around imo The Grey by Earthquaker. Labeled drive definitely a 2 channel fuzz. Been through them all just about. It is not spitty if that’s what you prefer. I don’t like spitty.

That PT riff at 16:50 takes me back.
PT as in?
Porcupine Tree
Just watching him noodle around, is mesmerizing. What a amazing guitarist.

A Rabea and John Cordy collab needs to happen 🤘🏻

@@guitarbrew6391 oh ya people should know who he is. The work ethic is just crazy 😅. I think him and rabea in the same room would sound incredible.
@@Josiahrayguitar Bea's insane riffs and John's fluid legato lines! Currently working on getting my legato to sound similar to John
❤❤
I second that, John Cordy is as good as they get!
That raspy gain you get that maintains string noise while overdriving is really nice.
That Sabre is one of the most beautiful guitars ive seen in quite some time. I know your showing off the pedals, but my GOD man. It's gorgeous.

the tones you get are always amazing, great video!
Looks over in the corner.
There’s…… a Gong…. 🤣
Yeah haha it’s my parents - I basically took it when I moved out hahaha
Holy shit the drive on that mid boost is so warm and chunky, absolutely gorgeous

I finally got the Origin Effects Sliderig Compact pedal after years of sitting in my Reverb cart. If I only had one pedal, that would be it.
It’s a great pedal! Do you place it before or after dirt?

@@WTF-Cubing nice! I use it after drive and before amp sim. Also use an early stage compressor too for country/funk.
16:40 Porcupine Three!!!! 😃🤟
Tbh Rabea could promote almost any gear he's alway got such a great tone. And hes a bloody sound lad too
Sunshine to my south hemisphere winter day
We all love listening to you jam and all products! I loved your Chapman but your new MM is really sweet!
Been using the M-EQ for tracking, smashing the front of crunchy amps. 1.3k seems to be where my ears are for guitars
Always was curious as to why he gravitates towards models that have tremolos when I haven’t really ever seen him use them.
Love your playing and vids. Great explanations and killer tones. Big fan!!
The neck on that Sabre is beautiful! sounds great too!
It's always a good day when Rabea uploads
I like this format of the review. You show some ways of use this pedals, and is wonderful! I love 🖤🔥

Would love to see a demonstration of how in the beginning of the video, you are shredding those notes using hybrid picking. ❤

I really appreciated the Porcupine Tree riff
When will we have a vid on the new guitar sig?????? :))))))) Cheers!
@RabeaMassaad - Any chance you could do a vid on the hybrid picking technique you seem to employ sometimes when playing lead?
You are absolutely amazing on guitar.......wow
When are doing some more ambient stuff?
Love that ambient stuff you do.
Nice tones 😀Porcupine Tree riff too 😀
Great demo! Always love you on a Strat Rabea.
My only problem is the 3 ply scratchplate on a 50's Stratocaster 😬 that ain't right 😂
It’s temporary! And thanks! Haha
Great tones and playing! What mics are you using on the cab?
Thanks - currently using a 57 and an NTR ribbon :)
Can you imagine the reaction from people if you played that Strat with those pedals at Woodstock in 1969.

Do you still plan on releasing Grinding Gears 4?
4-710D is four 710s in a rack enclosure not four 610s.
🍺👍
I like them nice and thick too rebea. I do

Anyone else getting fake Rabea messages?
