As part of the U.S. Embassy and Consulate's U.S.-Australia Cancer Moonshot Initiative, we're joining Shitbox Rally in support of Cancer Council Australia and Australia's world-leading cancer researchers, whose work benefits us all.
“Like every family, my family and Embassy families have lost too many people we love to cancer. In September 2022, on the 60th anniversary of President Kennedy’s Moonshot speech, President Biden relaunched the Cancer Moonshot: an ambitious, whole-of-government effort to end cancer as we know it. We know that no one country can end the fight against cancer alone, and the United States has no better partner in this fight than Australia. This initiative will highlight the work being done in both the United States and Australia to advance research, share best practices, and improve the lives of people with cancer, survivors, and their families.” -- Ambassador Kennedy

She's 68, four years older than her mother ever was. And she has the fair, thin Kennedy skin, not the thicker olive skin of her mother. She's wrinkled, but she's in great shape. She's even been surfing in Australia, while serving as US Ambassador there.
Whoops, I misspoke. She's 66, not 68, but still, she's in great shape for her age.
