A huge batter's eye had to be built so the batter at the plate doesn't burn his retinas from the setting sun. Also, no roof or canopy over the stands. Hot, miserable, outdated and located in a very sketchy neighborhood. No wonder that MiLB contracted the Bakersfield Blaze and moved them to North Carolina.
