Hey, I usually stay within the tabletop wargaming crafting community, but I always find it useful to check out other crafting philosophies - I really think you're onto something with the duct tape /paint combo, it seems like a cool, cheap and easy way to simulate metal plating
OMG this is just spectacular. My BFF and I have made many steampunk items but noting that could compare. I moved 1200 miles away from her. I am going to make one for her birthday. She will be stunned and in awe of your inspiration and creations. Love your work. Thank you so much for this tutorial.
TYFS. Although I agree with another commenter that watching you open the jump rings made me cringe. This is definitely going on my do to list. This is creative and wonderful. Seeing yours I'm thinking that a steampunk paper doll inside the basket would be wonderful. Again, great job.
love it just recently gettin in to steampunk......one thing i wished you would have covered the top seams where your fow leather strips met at the hook... like a washer or somethin....
This turned out beautiful. I love it. The proper way to open a jump ring is to twist the wire until the required opening is achieved. Do not pull it open. ... Use two pairs of flat nose pliers. ... Grasp the jump ring on opposite sides using the flat nose pliers. ... Use a "twisting" motion only to open the jump ring. ... You should now have the jump ring open.
What a clever Kessler project! it is so cool! I think, you were very clever, using the Glossy Accents to make the balloon have its necessary rivets. you really do c OK me up with some dandy projects.
It's amazing!! Thank you for sharing! I love your videos. You gave me great ideas for my fairy house last week and I meant to comment to say thank you for that as well. I may have to make a hot air balloon now!

I have another idea, I want to use the basket for, so now I know how to add, the stronger cage, wire, thanks, to your tutorial,..! Can't give my idea, away, but I will eventually post photos, of it on my face book page.

There are a few sizes to the plastic balls. Thanks for watching!
Wonderful idea! Thanks so much for sharing. To save your hands won't cheap thin gloves do for that stage? Again wonderful project.
What kind of liquid to make the little rivets on the straps? Sorry couldn't understand it on the video.
A material called Diamond Glaze or you can use brads
Sorry, forgot to ask where you got plastic ball. All I can find online is little small Christmas ornament balls.
@ I got it at my local craft store at the kids crafts section
What a really cool project!!! May I ask, what would you do with a project list this? Do you decorate your house? Craft space? Gift? Thanks again for sharing!!

This turned out awesome. tfs Did you use a 4 inch ball?
I absolutely adore this!! Can I ask where you got the ball from? Or where I might be able to get something that’s around the same size?
Thank you
I got it at my local craft store. Probably can get one at Michael's
I live in the UK so unfortunately I don’t have that option. Thank you anyway, I’ll just have to keep my eyes peeled 😉
Try amazon
Love this project!!
TFS Marsha ~~ZeeCee Creations
i must make one
Why didn't you put the ball on a string and spray it
Because I wanted that specific look and I couldn't get it with a spray
