Are you referring to the fuel filter? There is a mesh filter on the fuel cock, so I don't see a particular need to install one. The fuel filter will create resistance to the flow of gasoline and the heat may cause the gasoline to boil and not flow to the carburetor. It would be smoother without the filter.

The tires are Avon and Firestone, I forget the rim size but they are 21" and 16".
