  • After a busy day of hockey tournaments, I was aching to rock out a little bit on my new prototype harps. 2 little experiments I was trying out, intending to keep for myself. They might be my 2 new favourites. Definitely 532-C.

Use to play these in the 70s as kids. Still have one. 😊

@BoxcarBetts Hello. I don't know. But in England they was mass produced. Use to be sold in many sweet shops and music shops. You don't see them anymore.

@ I have one of those England ones! A couple, actually. One I replaced the reed when I first started, before I even made my own from scratch and the other I repaired as the tongue was bent. I decided not to mess anymore with history and if I come across any others they will be kept for decoration.

Sounds good and you play well I got hooked up at the local music store when I was eleven. The man at the store went through the whole case that contained some amazing things not seen nor heard by my little brain. Sound effects I recognized from my Bugs Bunny cartoons. Then the harmonicas and penny whistles at the end of the case was a Jews Harp as big as my head. Still have a smaller harp and several 'nose flutes'.

Yep, I’ve always had the ol’ Snoopy’s version kicking around from when I was a kid. And then just in the past couple years I broke it and I found a REAL one and my life has changed. Haha
