TATA Docomo, Videocon and other company died because of their 3rd class service charging 1st Class. Before Jio existing Telecom companies not even able to provide proper 3G Network in Major big cities forget about villages. At least after Jio other companies start focusing in Increasing Network coverage now people are getting 5G in Village just in 2 years of launch. Government has invested heavily in BSNL but majority of Investment goes into BSNL employee salaries which far more than PVT Telecom companies. And at same time BSNL employee are less productive and not able learn new technology that why government giving them VRS.

Also people left BSNL once other PVT companies like Airtel, Vodafone & Idea start their 3g with far better coverage. BSNL was in worst condition even before JIO era.
But luckily in my area Jio airfiber is working perfect, I haven't seen any speed drop (upload&downlord both) it remain constant under rain/strom/fog) it's just smooth.

I am using primary sim bsnl. I completely blame our stupid government handovering telecom business to private organisation they way Indian railways run can't government make the same for bsnl. Our government should learn from China atleast at this thing they are not doing privatisation for telecom.
