ALARMS
Alarm View is used to show the currently pending alarms or alarm events from the alarm buffer or alarm log. The alarm system allows you to display and record operating states and faults on the HMI device that are present or occur in a plant.
To Create an Alarm:
1. Drag and drop the Alarm on the screen from the “Toolbox”.
2. Double-click on the Alarm View, The properties will appear.
To Create an Alarm tag
Click on HMI alarms in the project tree. The HMI alarm window will open
Select the alarm type, either Discrete or Analog
Click on Add new, Type the name and text to be displayed
Select the alarm class, to create a new alarm class, click on the alarm classes tab.
Click on the Add new to add the alarm class, type the name, and select the state machine and select the background color for the alarm.
