@@TheIndigoEscape its been a long wait, I'm coming to start work on the house and Sarah needs to hang back for a while for work. At least we have had time to plan what's going to happen to the house and not made any rush decisions. You're inspiring us with your vloggs, thanks guys ❤💚💛
@@destino2portugal amazing man, super happy for you guys. It’s a good start and it’s nice to have a bit more certainty. We just read in the news there may be a Portsmouth/Plymouth Brittany ferry route to Porto. May be interesting for you. Seems like it may happen this month as well but still in talks. Keep us updated! 🤙❤️
Thank you very much for the details. There are alot of sites that give information about the walkway and the bridge but it’s not as clear as your guidance. Really happy with the information of the car parks and the entrance.
Hi guys...WOW...stunning scenery and beautiful country....nice to see you out and having some you time...sadly never been to Portugal but definitely going there ....brilliant video guys and so jealous 😊 keep safe and well 👍🏽🤙
Enjoyed seeing you in your element as guides! Clearly that is your strength, especially the very practical details for how to make the visit as smooth as possible. It's fun to watch the renovations but seeing you in your strength like this is great as well!
Thank you very much Christine, that’s very kind of you to say. We terribly miss tour guiding, it’s a very rewarding job. Hopefully people find this info useful as holidays are around the corner ❤️
Obrigada ~ WOW! This is the first video that I have seen about the new suspension bridge. Incredible! And thank you so much for all of the great tips. Definitely want to do this one day!! Oh and that bacalhau looked delicious!
Lovely video and very informative in mid march we found that lovely river bank parking lot pulled our out lawn chairs and had our packed lunch has café and the bridge was still closed.
Thank you! I’m not sure how it would work during normal times but March is low season, not sure if they have a seasonal opening times. Maybe. Also, Covid didn’t help and cafes/restaurants were only allowed to open in mid April and a bit more in May. So now you will be able to enjoy it. A picnic there would be amazing after a long day by the walkways/bridge!
First, knock me unconscious, then drag me across. The views are breathtaking though. Thank you for sharing as that may be the only way I get to experience the bridge. You do a great job providing all the information someone may need when visiting for the first time. I would absolutely book a tour with your company. It’s easy and very pleasant listening to your voices too. ❤️
Thank you Penny! It was an amazing day and I think it needs a whole day because there are many places to visit nearby. We are so looking forward to running tours, it's a very rewarding job to be honest!
I'm so happy y'all did this! I wanted to don't to when I get to mainland Portugal in about 2weeks. Then a little trip around Lisbon and up the coast! I was going to have to ask where this is, and you made my dream come true! I even SAVED THE VIDEO! Obrigada! Obrigada!
I live near Aveiro...very nice little city...the beaches in the summer ( July. August,September) are wonderful....I love "ovos moles" but they are all egg yolk and sugar very very sweet 🏝️⛱️👍
@@TheIndigoEscape Wait till the temps are well above 30ºC.....praia da Costa Nova e praia da Barra from July to end of September are very refreshing...if you like the beach you could rent a barraca in the sand near the water for a full day for as low as 5 euros a day....
that bridge looks great....would like to cross it with my electric motorcycle one day, maybe to raise some money for a charity or so....will have to contact the bridges organisation at some point :)
Haha yeah, I'm surprised they didn't have one half way for communal use!! Haha.. no really it wasn't too bad, we were in a rush so it looked more tiring than it needed to be ;)
Of course a meal is cheaper than coming to the bridge but that comparison it's little bit like comparing apples and oranges. Most people would visit Arouca bridge once in their lives, maybe have a walk at the Passadiços, dinner in Arouca and chill by the river beach. Of course, it's not for everybody :)
Awesome video guys! That bridge looks so scary!
Thank you! ❤️😊
As long as you don’t stare down too long, it’s incredibly amazing. Otherwise you do get a bit of vertigo!
It's nice you got to spend time relaxing and enjoying yourselves away from working.
Thank you! It was a lovely day out!
Lovely video, loved the tiles, love the cheap coffee and pastries and love the bridge.
Thankfully will be there in a few weeks time 💛💚❤
Thank you!
Excellent news!!! You guys must be ecstatic! Just in time, the rain is going away. Here awaits sunshine for you guys! Soon!

That cod fish dish looked delicious. Great episode.
Thanks for watching!
Love 'ovos moles', but only 1 a year, cause it's heavy and sweet. Lovely video. Don't know if I can rock that bridge! 😱

Thank you! That's very kind! :)
Thanks for visit and promote “my” City and the beach
Thank you! We absolutely loved and will be back soon :)
Great video. Fabulous place but I don't think I could cross that bridge.

Spring in Canada is beautiful!
Love it!!!! Great vid guys! Don't know if I could cross that bridge though!
We are staying in Aveiro in the summer so good to see some sights. Does the Arouca bridge ticket come with a free pair of clean underpants?
So beautiful xxx loving the videos and to see you both happy 🙏😘 cant wait to come see you all ❤🤘
Thanks Daz! More than welcome, plenty of great trails for mountain bikes!

Hi Daniel!
Yes, they were quite sweet!
It is a wonderful place, I think it deserves at least 2 days to check it out. Definitely going back!

Wow, does the bridge move or sway as you walk? That's great!
Yes it does actually. It's a slight sway but it isn't that unpleasant :)
Oh it moves? HELL NO. That's a hard pass :P Looks beautiful tho!
haha! Yes, it does move a bit. To be honest, when we were walking towards it,we were a bit....... apprehensive haha.

I'd love to visit the footbridge but may need to carry a defibrillator to reach it. 🥵

when lost in portugal just ask the locals, they'll "point" u on the right direction, lol
haha..That's very true. Without fail, it always works!
I am sorry! I watched the video, and I didn't gave my like! 🙏👍👍🙂
No worries, better late than never! Thank you!
Ridiculous price to walk across a bridge. You can buy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant more cheaply. Waste of money.
