Maybe update the video title on the basis of Prof. Cartledge's initial caveat?

No. The title was actually created by the Prof. himself, and notwithstanding the caveat, that's the title he wanted.

if you do not speak Greek, you will end up making mistakes when you try to give further meaning to the words...or you will end up giving your own meanings ..
So l will make it a bit easier..: δημος means municipality and κρατος means state.
    That is all.
It is for all the people who consist the municipality form the state. The state is formed by the will and the vote of the majority of the people.
So the word dimokratia means that the will of the majority should be most respected.lt means JUSTICE.
No ''elites'' and ''poor'' there, do not let anyone confuse you
    Greetings from Greece

The new God of War game is great. But in that version it was the God of War Aries who gave Kartos the power of a god. Not Zues.

"without educational preparation?" In other words, you disagreed with the outcome of the vote. Thank you to the people of Britain who in voting for their country voted against the greatest threat to Europe and the European.........the European Union.

_Instead, they were manipulated, lied to_
By both sides. The goal is "win power for yourself", not "do good for the country".

Nothing that you said matters. The EU government is clearly seeking the end of sovereignty and to create an entity like the United States where the sovereignty of States was all but destroyed. Getting out of the EU or staying in was the question and the British people rightly answered.

If only the rest of Europe were as smart about the EU as the British turned out to be, things would be so much better.

He just _ends_ the lecture. Very unsettling, as if it needs a summary which he didn't give.

Typical, I followed this video from Sparta where within five minutes he couldn't help mentioning his personal politics and here again feels he must open up on where he stood on the referendum. So i much mistrust what he's waffling on about, cant help thinking he's making up to suit his imagination. His voice also whines in the non fun Steven Fry way. In other words get over yourself and your importance.

This guy seethes with disgust and hatred of ordinary people. He also rambles off on tangents that have little to do with the main subject matter. It took all my will to listen to the whole thing. He's just your typical neoliberal.
