Let's give the band 5 Stars on this one. A blues song that shows . how we can rebuke all our losses and praise the future. Fight On. This song makes it possible to sleep wewll.
One of those 8-bar tunes similar to (with the same chord sequence [IV - I - V7 - I] as) 'The Girls Go Crazy'. Recorded in 1927 by Dick Burnett and Leonard Rutherford.
Thanks for the reference; the Burnett and Rutherford performance is on RUclips, and the words are very clear, and someone also posts them (with one mishearing).
Much the clearest, but I still can't get half the words! Anyone know them? Later: after research, the Rutherford and Burnett version is clear and seems close to what Greg is singing, but there are differences.
Beautiful song, well performed. I'm so glad you're keeping tunes like this alive.
Fantastic recording. 🙂 👍
