Since I am seeing a lot of confusion whether this year is supposed to be the 75th or 76th Independence day celebration, let me try to clarify it for you with a simple analogy. Suppose you are born on 1st January 2019. Since anniversary is celebrated after the completion of a year, on 1st January 2022 you'll be celebrating 3rd anniversary( 1st January 2020- first anniversary, 1st January 2021- second anniversary, 1st January 2022- third anniversary). But if you are to celebrate the day you are born, on 1st January 2022 it will be your 4th celebration( 1st January 2019 - first celebration, 1st January 2020- second celebration, 1st January 2021- third celebration, 1st January 2022- fourth celebration). Same logic applies here. Since India got Independence on 15th August 1947, this year is the 75th Anniversary and the 76th Independence day. Hope it helps. 😁
I will never understand why the host have to ask the audience to stand for the people or whatever kind of humans they may be... Please some people really live a very simple life... Asking them to stand for anybody should be a freedom given to the individual depending on their GUILT... please 🤦

Notice they were asked to *please* rise from their seats. The *please* in itself implies a humble or a polite request. The stf is just a waste of money.Nagaland faces more danger in the rural areas from insurgents rather than the cities which stf is made for.Looking at the stf I wonder how much money was spent on the expensive equipments and guns.the govt should instead focus more on armed police and their weapons and improve civil policing.
