Zhou Shen is classically trained as a baritone and later as a tenor, graduated as a tenor. Whenever he sang in his baritone ranges, despite being able to hit some of the notes, it caused harm to his voice that it took 3 months to recover. He wanted to be trained as a countertenor but his professor won’t let him; so his somewhat countertenor-sounding style is basically self-taught. If you wish to hear some lower ranges from him, Memory would be a place to go, although he sings most of these notes in a thinner mixed voice rather than chest-dominant. Da La Beng Ba has one small portion of the song that he sings/raps in his chest dominant, if that’s what you wish to hear. Hope to see more of your videos reacting to him!

@Victoria Breier ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ! That unqualified "judge" was EXTREMELY RUDE to Shen Shen. Her stupid song "imagination", was the WORST SONG, in all 12 episodes of SV 1.
@Victoria Breier He was mistreated when he was with 中國好聲音/声入人心. Most of the competitions' results there were pre-determined which is an open secret. I consulted a few renowned professional vocal coaches and it summed up that Zhou Shen was the best in terms of voice/tone and singing skills among the 36子 within 声入人心, yet they tried to prevent him from being a 首席. That said, either some of the judges there were unqualified or corrupt.
If you want to hear how low he can sing, try out “Dalabengba”, which he imitates 5 different characters’ voices in one song and you would get to hear how he imitates a male character’s voice. You would be surprised how gifted he is.

Hello. I'm so glad you reacted to Zhou (sounds like Joe) Shen. I fell in love with him and his voice on Singer 2020. Let me give you some background on him, sorry if I give you too much. He's an incredible talent and going to be 28 soon. His voice never really lowered when he hit puberty and he was afraid to sing in front of people, even though all he wanted to do was pick up a mic and sing. His parents also discouraged him from pursuing music when he was young because he didn't have the appearance of a superstar (he's 5'3), so he kind of buried it. At first he went to the Ukraine to study dentistry, but music was always his passion, so he changed to music school and studied as a belcanto. He speaks 6 languages and sings about 12. He tries to incorporate classical singing with contemporary. Thankfully, a friend encouraged him to sing in a competition (The Voice China) which started giving him confidence and some recognition. He's been able to develop some lower register now, like with Monsters ruclips.net/video/XGBUwxHE1pk/видео.html, and really came out of his shell during Singer 2020, which just wrapped up. Ramsey, Zhou Shen study operatic singing at Lviv National Academy of Music (Ukraine) and graduated in 2016. He is trained as a Tenor. He learned Counter Tenor singing skills through self-study and practice. Many people commented that he is gifted with good voice and missed the fact that Zhou Shen worked very hard in practicing and perfecting his singing skills. He sung songs in a great variety of genres.
Such angelic voice, beside vitas ,i never heard someone with such powerful voice like that ,he hit all the high note flawlessly. A rare talent for sure.

He has a pure, warm and angelic voice. What's special is that he is proficient in 7 languages and 7 voices. He can sing a wide range, especially when singing English songs. When you listen carefully, you will often hear Michael Jackson tone. Of course I am sure of him. It is definitely not intentional to imitate his singing. Everything is the grace given to him by God. You can feel that he is indulging in his singing!!! It is really a very special singer looking forward to him having a bigger stage so that everyone can enjoy the beauty the sound of!!!!!Professionally speaking, without these top-level equipment, super mixer, first-class orchestra, top-level arranger, there is no current Zhou Shen!!!Of course, the premise is that you must have the same strength as him.
I am a fan of Zhou Shen. he really has a gifted voice. Before he became famous for TV shows, he actually had many other opus (in Chinese). He has taken over almost all the theme songs of Chinese animation movies in recent years because of his His voice is such ethereal and warm, with a strong ability to empathize. He has been singing for fans on social platforms since high school. At that time, it was mostly covers. Later, he went abroad study in Ukraine as a medic. In the end, he decided to stick to his dream of learning vocal music. After returning to China, he finally appeared in the public's sight six years after returning. I'm so glad I found this. He is Bel Canto trained and this is his natural voice. I watched all of Super Vocals [ Chinese show for Opera and Musical theatre exponents} and it was fabulous. He was a huge star. He is very popular and is a successful singer in China with heaps of awards etc. Could I suggest you look at " Super Vocal Boys doing Queen Medley" as they are the winners of this Opera competition singing with Dimash. It is something else. Harmonies like only trained students of music could produce. Thanks, I enjoyed this.

I wasn’t a classical music fan till Zhou Shen’s angelic singing touched me. Please check out his singing of “memory”, monsters and big fish. He was laughed by many few years ago by his “girly” voice. I'm a countertenor! I sang soprano 1 in my college choirs (including the women's choir), but I sang bass 1 (baritone) in high school (and everything in between since then)! I can hit all the notes that Zhou Shen can sing, but I certainly don't have the talent or training that he has. He's someone I definitely look up to!

I just discovered your channel because I just also discovered Zhou Shen. He sang a song with another Chinese singer called Sa Dingding at a mid autumn festival and I just couldn’t believe how flawless it was. It would be wonderful if you can critique that performance. The song is called Upwards to the Moon.
Zhou Shen is not the usual countertenor his voice is that high naturally - he told in an interview that puberty came and went without really affecting his voice much. He does not have this "sharp edge" most countertenors have. The show is called Super Vocal - An amazingly professional show for opera and musical singers. Every week the the 6 principals (best of the previous werk) had to choose a song and/or not parters for a duet/trio or more, make the arrangement and work out the harmonies to accommodate their voices. There was not one average singer in the show - highly recommended Ayunga, Zheng Yulong, Wang Xi just to name a few and no, Zhou Shen was not among the 6 winners which might tell how high the quality level of the show is.

I've consulted a few national and international renowned professional vocal coaches. I'll never forget that one of the coaches even said that all the other singers were replaceable except Zhou Shen.
I think you would enjoy “Our Song”. That show pairs off new gen singers with super super famous past gen singers. They’re all professional singers. It’s soooo much fun to watch, especially seeing how they rearrange songs to fit very different genres. There was one performance where it was a 4 person group and all 4 had extremely different genres and the song was ~chef’s kiss~ Zhou Shen was one of the competitors. I also looove how the show encourages competitors to show each other support and rain praises on each other.

I can't wait for future reacts!!, I came across your channel while I was looking at some Hua Chenyu' reacts and I stayed watching other videos vides because I like the way you explain about their singing techniques, about their voices etc., That's why I wanted to hear/watch your first reaction to Zhou Shen, I just found about him recently while watching Singer2020 where HCY was and then Super Vocal bcs my friend is obsessed with the show. I often watch react videos but some are too plain and just focus on visuals or some other vocal coaches don't go too deep and just say 'oh what a beautiful voice' and then I'm like.. well I can say the same and I know nothing about music/bel canto etc. So that's why I'm so so so happy you did this! I don't know what your next reaction video of ZS' songs' gonna be but I can't wait!!. I don't know if someone mentioned it already but in super vocal one of the mentors (the old man there) said that ZS didn't get a 'profesional trainning' (dunno how to say it, my english is not the best), something like that, you can search for the tv show, a team added eng subtitles and it's on youtube + say something about counter-tenor; most of the participants go to the audition and say their vocal range. Also, in Singer2020 he says that his voice didn't change so it was quite a problem to get some jobs/songs-to-sing, until he got to sing Big Fish and damn, that's when I fell hard for him! the show is also here in youtube and he was the first to sing on the 1st chapter so it's easy to find and it'll be cool if you hear his background story before he sang! I think his most recently music-show appearence was on The Coming One season 4, chapter 7 i think? he helped did a collab with the band currently participating (sorry if this comment is a mess!) oh and i watched this video like 3 times bcs my mom asked what i was watching (she knows i often play SZ songs and recognizes his voice) so i told her this is a reaction to him and watched it together again (she doesnt speak english so i live-translated it for her!) and she was like ''he really knows what he's talking about"! so yeah if you post more SZ reactions i'll tell my mom asap to watch it together again! have a nice day!

Check out Zhow Shen . Upwards to the moon, will blow your socks off. As to his low notes he did have training with a baritone coach when he was about 18/20 but the coach gave him to hard work to fast and it damaged his vocal cords and he had to have treatment. To hear his low notes go to Zhow Shen The Masked singer 2016 and right at the end he gives a demo of low and high notes in Italian. They have him in a dress and has a butterflies on his head dress and with a wig and vail.....He did the show again in 2018 in a cartoon type costume with a white round bobble head.
It would be cool if Zhou Shen can team up with Andrea Bocelli to sing this song. He can sing very low too. His parents sent him to Ukraine to study dentistry but he ended up switching to operatic singing with Ukraine’s Lviv State Conservatory. He had to convince the professor to take him after going to him again and again. And again and again. His persistence impressed the professor so much he finally relented. That prof taught him all he needed. After he passed a few years later due to illness without ZS’s knowledge, the latter flew back to Ukraine to pay his respects at his tombstone. ZS is a shy, funny and humble young man. He participated in a voice like competition at age 21 but was eliminated by a female judge who in my opinion is a detested and average singer. But many other famous leaders in the entertainment industry recognize ZS’s talent eg Chinas great movie producer Zhang Yu Mou, American-Hong Mong Record Producer Gao Xiao- Song etc. since then he’s been asked by many Chinese film producers to sing their movies theme song etc ZS is 29 now though he’s still looks like a high school student. Can be mischievous. Has come out of his shell 😂😂😂

Zhou Shen is really a talent. I’m a Chinese so I understand the conversation between Zhou and panel judge after the performance. Zhou has not been well trained and he learned the singing technique on his own. I don’t know if this still happened. Zhou is a talent!

During many of Zhou Shen's interviews, he said that when all the boys went through puberty that caused their voices sound much deeper, but his didn't. He also described that his voice skipped puberty and stayed sounding like a little boy or girl. So he got picked on his "girly voice" pretty badly wherever he sang, although he was the only one amazed the music teacher to hit the perfect note each time. He then started losing confidence in singing, although he loved it so much, he was forced to give up. So he studied abroad to Ukraine for dentistry to become a dentist. After the second year of medical learning, he still found himself holding such passion for singing, so he switched subject to learn opera. Before he graduated or after, I can't remember, he went on Voice of China, and immediately got discovered by the nation just how talented he was. Although he didn't win the competition, he surely carved his voice in millions of Chinese people's hearts. As he was pursuing his singing career with some struggles after the show, he was accidentally asked to do a demo of a theme song called Da Yu=Big Fish, which he just recorded with his cell phone, thinking it would be a lot easier to send the recording to the movie director. Of course the director was stunned just how beautiful he could sing it and deliver the exact message of what he wanted for the movie, after they tried out several famous Chinese singers. So then, he became well-known even wider throughout the entire country by his beautiful vocal. Like we all say, he's one of the kind and he is the only one by far can make me crazily, deeply, and madly in love with his voice!! I'm absolutely just abcessive with his talent, he can sing into my heart like no others can. Besides he's beautiful singing, he's also a beautiful person inside out. He carries the qualities that truly make people fall in love with this fun, kind, friendly, humble, carrying, loving, and a real person. He's got the total package, size doesn't matter 😍.

At the time when ZS joined this contest, he did not have formal voice training bcoz he was sent to Ukraine to be a dentistry student. He was self taught at the time. However he loves listening to music as a kid and he sat to listen in music classes . Eventually he switched major to study at Ukraine’s Lviv State Music Conservatory. I watched Super Vocals with him in it. He is very special. He never really developed a male voice and suffered a lot because of it, but finally sang Pop anyway and then Opera. He is a charming, funny, talented young man. I loved Super Vocals and watched it all. It was a singing contest in China for Opera and Musical Theatre singers. There is a series with English subtitles. It was some of the winners who sang Queen Medley with Dimash. If you haven't seen that, it is a must. Enjoy this rare talent in Charlie Zhou.

I have heard his tenor voice in 1 or 2 interviews but I forgot. His tenor voice is super, man. And his countertenor voice is beautiful like a females soprano. Thank you for reacting to Zhou Shen's singing! He is a very good singer! On one variety show, he shared that he was being indiscriminated because his unique voice remained this way even after puberty. He almost gave up until he released one of his original "Big Fish" in 2016 for a movie production. That is when people started noticing him. I know many have asked you to check out his performance in the Singer 2020.. He have also sang "Big Fish" in the show too! Would love to see your reaction to it!
Hey mate! Thank you for making this reaction! Your tutorial on voice knowledge is really useful. I am a fan of Zhou Shen and he actually got an English name "Charlie". If you wonder how low he can sing, I would recommend you to listen a song called "達拉崩吧“ which is the champion song of "The Singer" Episode6. The range of notes should be between C#3 to C6. Besides, there's a song of him called" 願得一心人”which the lowest notes fall on C#3 as well.
I stumbled across this reaction video and it is quite old but i really like that you commented on the techniques and etc bc when i watched the show this video was from they rarely talk about techniques etc even though it would have been interesting to learn while listening to the participants sing. Zhou Shen is classically trained as a baritone and later as a tenor, graduated as a tenor. Whenever he sang in his baritone ranges, despite being able to hit some of the notes, it caused harm to his voice that it took 3 months to recover. He wanted to be trained as a countertenor but his professor won’t let him; so his somewhat countertenor-sounding style is basically self-taught. If you wish to hear some lower ranges from him, Memory would be a place to go, although he sings most of these notes in a thinner mixed voice rather than chest-dominant. Da La Beng Ba has one small portion of the song that he sings/raps in his chest dominant, if that’s what you wish to hear. Hope to see more of your videos reacting to him!

That unqualified "judge" was EXTREMELY RUDE to Shen Shen.
Her stupid song "imagination", was the WORST SONG, in all 12 episodes of SV 1.
@Victoria Breier He was mistreated when he was with 中國好聲音/声入人心. Most of the competitions' results there were pre-determined which is an open secret. I consulted a few renowned professional vocal coaches and it summed up that Zhou Shen was the best in terms of voice/tone and singing skills among the 36子 within 声入人心, yet they tried to prevent him from being a 首席. That said, either some of the judges there were unqualified or corrupt.
If you want to hear how low he can sing, try out “Dalabengba”, which he imitates 5 different characters’ voices in one song and you would get to hear how he imitates a male character’s voice. You would be surprised how gifted he is.

Hello. I'm so glad you reacted to Zhou (sounds like Joe) Shen. I fell in love with him and his voice on Singer 2020. Let me give you some background on him, sorry if I give you too much. He's an incredible talent and going to be 28 soon. His voice never really lowered when he hit puberty and he was afraid to sing in front of people, even though all he wanted to do was pick up a mic and sing. His parents also discouraged him from pursuing music when he was young because he didn't have the appearance of a superstar (he's 5'3), so he kind of buried it. At first he went to the Ukraine to study dentistry, but music was always his passion, so he changed to music school and studied as a belcanto. He speaks 6 languages and sings about 12. He tries to incorporate classical singing with contemporary. Thankfully, a friend encouraged him to sing in a competition (The Voice China) which started giving him confidence and some recognition. He's been able to develop some lower register now, like with Monsters ruclips.net/video/XGBUwxHE1pk/видео.html, and really came out of his shell during Singer 2020, which just wrapped up. Ramsey, Zhou Shen study operatic singing at Lviv National Academy of Music (Ukraine) and graduated in 2016. He is trained as a Tenor. He learned Counter Tenor singing skills through self-study and practice. Many people commented that he is gifted with good voice and missed the fact that Zhou Shen worked very hard in practicing and perfecting his singing skills. He sung songs in a great variety of genres.

He has a pure, warm and angelic voice. What's special is that he is proficient in 7 languages and 7 voices. He can sing a wide range, especially when singing English songs. When you listen carefully, you will often hear Michael Jackson tone. Of course I am sure of him. It is definitely not intentional to imitate his singing. Everything is the grace given to him by God. You can feel that he is indulging in his singing!!! It is really a very special singer looking forward to him having a bigger stage so that everyone can enjoy the beauty the sound of!!!!!Professionally speaking, without these top-level equipment, super mixer, first-class orchestra, top-level arranger, there is no current Zhou Shen!!!Of course, the premise is that you must have the same strength as him.

I am a fan of Zhou Shen. he really has a gifted voice. Before he became famous for TV shows, he actually had many other opus (in Chinese). He has taken over almost all the theme songs of Chinese animation movies in recent years because of his His voice is such ethereal and warm, with a strong ability to empathize. He has been singing for fans on social platforms since high school. At that time, it was mostly covers. Later, he went abroad study in Ukraine as a medic. In the end, he decided to stick to his dream of learning vocal music. After returning to China, he finally appeared in the public's sight six years after returning. So he is not the same as many celebrities. He has a very humble and lovely personality in private. Ah, I wish him singing happily all the time.

I thought it would be a nice little summary to introduce him to our English speaking fans and to let them understand his struggles with the exceptionally unique gift nature has given him.
Instead of taking on “grief, self-pity and seclusion” or “regrets, hatred and reprisals against those who ridicule him” Zhou Shen bravely and graciously shares his beautiful voice with the world.
It really needs huge courage to stand on the stage and face the world with all these negativities surrounding him (including objections from his parents, for protective reasons)
I truly feel for him and I greatly appreciate his bravery. I’m sincerely grateful for his graciousness to share his beautiful voice that has brought so much comfort, joy and hope to uncountable listeners. Besides, the encouragement and hope he has given to people in similar circumstances. The ripple effects of his positive courageous actions are far and wide, I’m sure. I'm so glad I found this. He is Bel Canto trained and this is his natural voice. I watched all of Super Vocals [ Chinese show for Opera and Musical theatre exponents} and it was fabulous. He was a huge star. He is very popular and is a successful singer in China with heaps of awards etc. Could I suggest you look at " Super Vocal Boys doing Queen Medley" as they are the winners of this Opera competition singing with Dimash. It is something else. Harmonies like only trained students of music could produce. Thanks, I enjoyed this.

I'm a countertenor! I sang soprano 1 in my college choirs (including the women's choir), but I sang bass 1 (baritone) in high school (and everything in between since then)! I can hit all the notes that Zhou Shen can sing, but I certainly don't have the talent or training that he has. He's someone I definitely look up to!

I just discovered your channel because I just also discovered Zhou Shen. He sang a song with another Chinese singer called Sa Dingding at a mid autumn festival and I just couldn’t believe how flawless it was.
It would be wonderful if you can critique that performance. The song is called Upwards to the Moon.
Zhou Shen is not the usual countertenor his voice is that high naturally - he told in an interview that puberty came and went without really affecting his voice much. He does not have this "sharp edge" most countertenors have. The show is called Super Vocal - An amazingly professional show for opera and musical singers. Every week the the 6 principals (best of the previous werk) had to choose a song and/or not parters for a duet/trio or more, make the arrangement and work out the harmonies to accommodate their voices. There was not one average singer in the show - highly recommended Ayunga, Zheng Yulong, Wang Xi just to name a few and no, Zhou Shen was not among the 6 winners which might tell how high the quality level of the show is.

I've consulted a few national and international renowned professional vocal coaches. I'll never forget that one of the coaches even said that all the other singers were replaceable except Zhou Shen.
I think you would enjoy “Our Song”. That show pairs off new gen singers with super super famous past gen singers. They’re all professional singers. It’s soooo much fun to watch, especially seeing how they rearrange songs to fit very different genres. There was one performance where it was a 4 person group and all 4 had extremely different genres and the song was ~chef’s kiss~ Zhou Shen was one of the competitors.
I also looove how the show encourages competitors to show each other support and rain praises on each other.

I can't wait for future reacts!!, I came across your channel while I was looking at some Hua Chenyu' reacts and I stayed watching other videos vides because I like the way you explain about their singing techniques, about their voices etc., That's why I wanted to hear/watch your first reaction to Zhou Shen, I just found about him recently while watching Singer2020 where HCY was and then Super Vocal bcs my friend is obsessed with the show. I often watch react videos but some are too plain and just focus on visuals or some other vocal coaches don't go too deep and just say 'oh what a beautiful voice' and then I'm like.. well I can say the same and I know nothing about music/bel canto etc. So that's why I'm so so so happy you did this! I don't know what your next reaction video of ZS' songs' gonna be but I can't wait!!. I don't know if someone mentioned it already but in super vocal one of the mentors (the old man there) said that ZS didn't get a 'profesional trainning' (dunno how to say it, my english is not the best), something like that, you can search for the tv show, a team added eng subtitles and it's on youtube + say something about counter-tenor; most of the participants go to the audition and say their vocal range. Also, in Singer2020 he says that his voice didn't change so it was quite a problem to get some jobs/songs-to-sing, until he got to sing Big Fish and damn, that's when I fell hard for him! the show is also here in youtube and he was the first to sing on the 1st chapter so it's easy to find and it'll be cool if you hear his background story before he sang! I think his most recently music-show appearence was on The Coming One season 4, chapter 7 i think? he helped did a collab with the band currently participating (sorry if this comment is a mess!) oh and i watched this video like 3 times bcs my mom asked what i was watching (she knows i often play SZ songs and recognizes his voice) so i told her this is a reaction to him and watched it together again (she doesnt speak english so i live-translated it for her!) and she was like ''he really knows what he's talking about"! so yeah if you post more SZ reactions i'll tell my mom asap to watch it together again! have a nice day!

Check out Zhow Shen . Upwards to the moon, will blow your socks off. As to his low notes he did have training with a baritone coach when he was about 18/20 but the coach gave him to hard work to fast and it damaged his vocal cords and he had to have treatment. To hear his low notes go to Zhow Shen The Masked singer 2016 and right at the end he gives a demo of low and high notes in Italian. They have him in a dress and has a butterflies on his head dress and with a wig and vail.....He did the show again in 2018 in a cartoon type costume with a white round bobble head.

It would be cool if Zhou Shen can team up with Andrea Bocelli to sing this song. He can sing very low too. His parents sent him to Ukraine to study dentistry but he ended up switching to operatic singing with Ukraine’s Lviv State Conservatory. He had to convince the professor to take him after going to him again and again. And again and again. His persistence impressed the professor so much he finally relented. That prof taught him all he needed. After he passed a few years later due to illness without ZS’s knowledge, the latter flew back to Ukraine to pay his respects at his tombstone. ZS is a shy, funny and humble young man. He participated in a voice like competition at age 21 but was eliminated by a female judge who in my opinion is a detested and average singer. But many other famous leaders in the entertainment industry recognize ZS’s talent eg Chinas great movie producer Zhang Yu Mou, American-Hong Mong Record Producer Gao Xiao- Song etc. since then he’s been asked by many Chinese film producers to sing their movies theme song etc ZS is 29 now though he’s still looks like a high school student. Can be mischievous. Has come out of his shell 😂😂😂

Zhou Shen is really a talent. I’m a Chinese so I understand the conversation between Zhou and panel judge after the performance. Zhou has not been well trained and he learned the singing technique on his own. I don’t know if this still happened. Zhou is a talent!

During many of Zhou Shen's interviews, he said that when all the boys went through puberty that caused their voices sound much deeper, but his didn't. He also described that his voice skipped puberty and stayed sounding like a little boy or girl. So he got picked on his "girly voice" pretty badly wherever he sang, although he was the only one amazed the music teacher to hit the perfect note each time. He then started losing confidence in singing, although he loved it so much, he was forced to give up. So he studied abroad to Ukraine for dentistry to become a dentist. After the second year of medical learning, he still found himself holding such passion for singing, so he switched subject to learn opera. Before he graduated or after, I can't remember, he went on Voice of China, and immediately got discovered by the nation just how talented he was. Although he didn't win the competition, he surely carved his voice in millions of Chinese people's hearts. As he was pursuing his singing career with some struggles after the show, he was accidentally asked to do a demo
of a theme song called Da Yu=Big Fish, which he just recorded with his cell phone, thinking it would be a lot easier to send the recording to the movie director. Of course the director was stunned just how beautiful he could sing it and deliver the exact message of what he wanted for the movie, after they tried out several famous Chinese singers. So then, he became well-known even wider throughout the entire country by his beautiful vocal.
Like we all say, he's one of the kind and he is the only one by far can make me crazily, deeply, and madly in love with his voice!! I'm absolutely just abcessive with his talent, he can sing into my heart like no others can.
Besides he's beautiful singing, he's also a beautiful person inside out. He carries the qualities that truly make people fall in love with this fun, kind, friendly, humble, carrying, loving, and a real person. He's got the total package, size doesn't matter 😍.

Cannot wait to see your comments on Zhoushen’s performance on Dalabengba! That song was written for virtual singers and did not mean to be sang by a real person! It is such an interesting and beautiful performance to me as an ordinary audience without any professional training in music previously.

I watched Super Vocals with him in it. He is very special. He never really developed a male voice and suffered a lot because of it, but finally sang Pop anyway and then Opera. He is a charming, funny, talented young man. I loved Super Vocals and watched it all. It was a singing contest in China for Opera and Musical Theatre singers. There is a series with English subtitles. It was some of the winners who sang Queen Medley with Dimash. If you haven't seen that, it is a must. Enjoy this rare talent in Charlie Zhou.

I have heard his tenor voice in 1 or 2 interviews but I forgot. His tenor voice is super, man. And his countertenor voice is beautiful like a females soprano. Thank you for reacting to Zhou Shen's singing! He is a very good singer! On one variety show, he shared that he was being indiscriminated because his unique voice remained this way even after puberty. He almost gave up until he released one of his original "Big Fish" in 2016 for a movie production. That is when people started noticing him.

Hey mate! Thank you for making this reaction! Your tutorial on voice knowledge is really useful. I am a fan of Zhou Shen and he actually got an English name "Charlie". If you wonder how low he can sing, I would recommend you to listen a song called "達拉崩吧“ which is the champion song of "The Singer" Episode6. The range of notes should be between C#3 to C6. Besides, there's a song of him called" 願得一心人”which the lowest notes fall on C#3 as well.

I stumbled across this reaction video and it is quite old but i really like that you commented on the techniques and etc bc when i watched the show this video was from they rarely talk about techniques etc even though it would have been interesting to learn while listening to the participants sing.
