Think the lads on the touchline need to be a bit smarter when appealing for decisions. Granted the ref missed a few challenges but at the same time the sideline were on his back from the first minute. If you pressure the ref all game then he's definitely not going to rule in your favour. If you remain calm on the small challenges it gives you more psychological clout when it comes to the big match impacting decisions.
Definitely agree with that. You have to put enough pressure on that he won’t see you as a soft touch, but not so much that he starts working against you. Difficult balance to strike
Doesn’t matter what you call him he will always be the dab Fail guy for me. Edit: made this comment before it actually got added into the video😂 amazing stuff
I sense a chant: 👏👏👏👏 WE'VE GOT GREEN SHOOORRRRRTTTTSSSS 👏👏👏 👏👏👏👏 WE'VE GOT GREEN SHOOORRRRRTTTTSSSS 👏👏👏 👏👏👏👏 WE'VE GOT GREEN SHORTS WE'VE GOT GREEN SHORTS WE'VE GOT GREEN SHOOORRRRRTTTTSSSS 👏👏👏
I wish that advantage works in football as a mix of now and how it does in rugby. Where a foul has been given and as the team who has been fouled has retained possession that the referee can clearly signal for advantage but has the power and opportunity to bring it back if no advantage is actually taken by the team. Having the refs being able to clearly give a signal for advantage allows the ref to acknowledge in real time a foul has occurred and takes away any screaming and crying about how X was a foul etc, it gives players a clear indication for everyone on the field what's happening and if there isn't an advantage then it can be brought back within reason. Essentially how it works normally but the ref can motion for advantage and if they believe that no clear advantage has occurred for the team who was fouled they can bring it back. Because often a team can get shafted with an advantage which isn't actually a proper advantage. Referees often do this anyway but this way they are protected from any abuse etc from players or the side-line about how such and such was a foul. This by no means a perfect idea or ruling but I do sometimes get frustrated about how a team is given advantage and then not actually having any advantage where instead a freekick into the box or just a free kick would be more beneficial.
First advantage call is fine by me. The Laws leave it to judgment of the ref whether the advantage has materialized or not "at the time or within a few seconds." So, since the foul forced Webby to rush his pass, I think it's reasonable to see what happens after the NEXT pass, which the ref did. Another ref might call it differently, which would be totally fine, too. I think this decision was in normal scope of the judgment the rules are asking him to make. The second one is bizarre: If you get an immediate shot, the advantage has accrued "at the time." You don't THEN wait a few more seconds to see how things work out. To look at it another way: You get a red card for fouling to prevent a goal or a clear goal-scoring opportunity. It's a big penalty, because you're making up for a pretty certain score if the foul never happens. But by waiting to see if the shot goes in before bringing the ball back, this ref is basically saying he needs to retcon the timeline to correct the loss of a goal; if THAT was the advantage he was waiting on (because a shot doesn't qualify), then somebody should get sent off. Which would obviously be nuts. What's especially weird about the second one is that he just watches the play without giving any signal at all. (The camera is panning very hard past the ref on the first one, so it's hard to see whether he had arms extended.) It almost looks like he flaked out for a sec and forgot that advantage was a thing, and just blew the whistle when he realized he should already have been making some kind of decision.
From a ref on advantage - whatever the referee thinks is long enough for the attacking team to do something with it. If they try something and waste it then play on. All in the referees interpretation tho unfortunately. No 6 second rule or whatever bollocks people say
Very thankful for you bringing back the sunday games, always entertaining- even when not in form. But glad to see the lads back to winnning ways! UTP

Can tell you're enjoying it more again, the tone of your voice on the commentary and jokes are top stuff! COYP
Enjoyed “the slowest volley ever” 😂😂
Blossy bossed this game, they couldn't get anywhere near him!
He's quality
I'm sure a lot rate Lewis. But Blossy is easily the best signing for the club. Really enjoy watching him.
Give Bill that goal Smiv, he hit it elegantly in the air and got up. I hurt my back watching him do that.
Doesn’t matter what you call him he will always be the dab Fail guy for me.

Makes my week, every week💪🏼 loving the unselfishness from bill, really good performance
4:20 that backing music sounds like a deranged cat…
2 mins in and realised it's the guy who saved a throw in..... By kicking it for a corner
Shane, unsung, Blossy, as classy player, Webby, different gravy.
Bills attitude has been spot on recently during the game from what the highlights tell anyway, quality from him
i'm an old man in montana usa, and i love watching your vids and seeing you guys having so much fun.
that tackle by #9 at 10:00 could've been red on its own

Smiv how is Troy doing? Will we ever see him back running the line??
Yes. That's more like the palmers we know.
"Ref" might be the word said the most but "How many more?" has to be the most spoken question at a football match.
Only just realised palmers were in green at the end haha
Smiv, Brentwood v Hashtag tomorrow 7.45 at Brentwood centre, you there?
Callum palmer what a baller
Cal palmer has been class, no ogs today
Callum Palmer has been different gravy recently, Videos have been back to there best as well Smiv!

I really wish there were a way my Sunday league team could play you boys! Love watching the videos
Too confusing seeing Palmers in green and other team in Palmers orange 🍊🤯

Anyone else notice the jogger in the background applauding Callum Palmers goal at 9:45?
Palmers are on the rise again 😍
Spend like 5 minutes until i actually realized that Palmers were on green in this video, dammit!
Me and Blossy linking up again 😂
Did you see the jogger clapping for Callum’s 2nd goal!? 😂😂
Callum palmer a victim of the Harvey barnes effect

Is that bill assist for 5-0 his assist though ? Keeper saved the initial shot 👀😂
you all wonder why there's a lack referees around yet Tommo spends his Sunday's screaming everything under the sun at the referee each week?
obviously not seen the previous weeks when the players have been kicked to pieces and had no protection.
Good stuff boys, Great win!
Go on Palmers!
GREAT SUNDAY LEAGUE CONTENT YET AGAIN
Better lads
Well done
A couple of passes might not "use up" advantage ... that's open to judgment ... but a shot always does.
Great football
It took me half the video to realize you lot were green hahahaha
But, what about the green shorts?!
great video
Palmerssssss
Hahahahaa that volley
6-0 they completely crumpled didn't they lol
Advantage rule is and always has been 3 seconds
Callum palmer is some player
Who does Blossy play for on Saturdays? Quality player..

Both goals on target from bill and blossy
There number 9 should of had a red

Im loving it smiv!!
How has the referee not sent the 9 off?? One footed✅ No control✅ Excessive force✅ should be a straight 🔴. Yet again. Pretty poor from the referee.
8:20 couldn’t use WOVER!?!?!?
UTP!
Few palmers knocking about in Sunday league …. Callum Palmer Nathan Palmer Ryan Palmer 🤣🤣🤣
