Today’s photo is from 2015 and shows approximately 20,000 Clemson fans that gathered inside of Memorial Stadium and Death Valley to watch the College Football Selection Show unveil the playoff seeds.
Deflecting a question earlier in the season during a press conference, Dabo Swinney originally told fans they would have the “biggest pizza party ever” when the first college playoff rankings came out if Clemson was in the mix, which proved to be true as the Tigers finished the regular season and ACC Championship game undefeated.

Correct! Trivia Answer: The #3 seed was Michigan State, who had 1 loss during the season at Nebraska. Oklahoma, the #4 seed, who had one loss on the season vs. Texas in the Red River Rivalry, but were generally considered a better team than Michigan State despite the #4 seed.
