Composer: Toru Minegishi
Arranger: Marwynn Somridhivej
Total Work Time ≈ 12 hours
This is one of those Zelda tracks that really stands out, like Gerudo Valley or Full Steam Ahead. Your arrangement here is amazing.
Thank you! Glad you liked it :)
And great fountain fairy and opening theme of oot and song of storms and temple of time theme
This is a masterpiece. A solid 100000/10 from me, my friend 👌🏼
That arrangement reminds me a lot of the Bach-Gounod piece. I liked.
You need more subscribers dude. Not enough people know how kickass your compositions are. Keep it up!
Thank you!
Yo I’m really glad this got recommended to me- it was really neat and sounded nice. Also, your thumbnails all look very snazzy. I like them! I’ll subscribe so I can be updated with what you put out in the future- keep it up!
Thank you! Glad you liked it. I’m working on an arrangement for the BOTW ganon battle pieces so stay tuned :)
@@msarranges I love Ganon’s boss fight battle in BotW! I’m excited!
This is really good, I like it a lot :)
I just found you today, and as a fellow new composer/arranger (as of quarantine), I wish you luck!
Thank you! Apparently this comment was held for review for some reason, and I just got to see it now. Best of luck to you as well :)
omg this is beautiful
great stuff
Why didn’t we get actual orchestral music for the game? Instead we got midi. It could’ve sounded a lot better.
nice
masterpiece
video game music isn't music
Zelda EXISTS
I guess I'm going to be the first person to actually criticize this... please don't get me wrong, I definitely appreciate the effort you put into this. 0:00-2:18 is a beautiful recreation/interpretation of the original. But everything in the middle and the very end which was completely new, feels like a separate song entirely. Imho you deviated too far from the melancholic melody of the original to the point that it's hard to see the connection. If I was shown only the middle part of this arrangement I would not have been able to tell it was based on Midna's Lament whatsoever, it's simply much too warm and too different. Not saying it's bad! But I would've preferred a more faithful interpretation. It's called Midna's *Lament* for a reason...
I’m sure at least a few others felt that way too. Though most people don’t comment feedback like this it is helpful to see areas that people don’t seem to like as much. Thanks for your feedback!
@@msarranges Thank you for taking my comment so well! The truth is, I like both parts of your arrangement on their own. But I felt they did not blend well due to the very different tones. As others have said, the middle section sounds more classical and Bach inspired, but I sincerely struggled to see its correlation to the original song which has a somber feel. That said, I am certain had they been two separate pieces, I would have had nothing but praise for them! You are clearly talented and I believe you deserve more attention on your channel for sure! Good luck on your future projects!
This just got recommended to me, and I love it. Gotta check out the rest of your stuff now!
Thank you! Glad you liked it hehe :)
It’s no wonder people keep getting recommended this. It is phenomenal. I also like how it incorporates more traditional rhythms used in older symphonic pieces.
.... so you've never played the game?
@@jonb3167I did as a kid, but it was a long time ago. I was mainly referring to specifically 2:26, where the piano has a very similar chord progression to some of the older, more traditionally known piano pieces. I am unaware if it is in the original piece, but them bringing out allows to song to flow a bit better as it turns more legato.
Awesome!
Wow! Amazing to hear Bach's Prelude in C Major implemented in this song.
I just discovered your channel today, your arrangements are amazing, i'll subscribe right now, i hope you make more of this, you are amazing,¡Saludos desde España! 👋
Thank you!! Glad you like it :)
This is a big masterpiece. I love this song. Zelda twilight princess is the best zelda game ever made. Great job 👏
Wow there is some BACH in there, genius !
WOW!! THIS IS TOO GOOD! Just listen to the song. And the arranging... How do you have only 96 subs. You should have more. And how does this video have a dislike? (I guess it's from Ganondorf)
Thank you! Glad you liked it :)
This- this hits the spot. Don't mind me I'm just going to cry.
Incredible!! Love this! Hey, is there a problem if I use this in my projects? Of course I'll credit you!
Glad you like it! You’re good to put this in your projects. If you want, send me the link once its done so I can take a look :)
@@msarranges Thank you so much!! Where I can send the link? do you want here?

At the beginning I was like "this is normal OK," to being "OH MY GODDDDDD"
_Madly dashing throught Hyrule Field to find help for Midna_
this continues to be and will remain the most memerable moment in zelda games for a long time to come
For some reason this gives me vibes for the Heros of Might and Magic 3 OST.
Hi. Great job. What program do you use? I looked for it on your channel but wasn't able to find it. Id love to know! :)
Hey there! For Midnas Lament I used MuseScore3 with custom soundfonts. For later ones I use FL Studio 20 though.
@@msarranges Ah, ok nice. Thank you! Interesting that MuseScore can sound that good, gg.
It was basically as good as I could possibly get. Switched to a real daw after lol
This moment maked me cry when i was 7 years old
Beautiful work. May I ask what piano VST is used?
Oh man I made this a long time ago, so I don’t remember exactly. They were soundfonts though, this piece was made in MuseScore3 so there is a combination of internet downloadable sountfonts and the general MIDI patch. Glad you enjoyed!
