Me and him were even going to go to your concert in June I believe... unfortunately however he passed away yesterday... he was 36. I'm 15 and every song you were in he could name every lyric to it. I struggled with addiction since I was an early teenager now at 35 I can say I’ve got 6 years sober this song is like a replay of my past the struggle is real being sober is much harder than being high but rewards sober are much better keep fighting the fight people
I instantly thought of my daddy when I heard this 😢 he's battling a case now as of last Friday and alcohol addiction, my heart breaks 💔 for him.

I accidentally met a video of one musician.., in this video he was crying and thanking people for the Grammy that he received. This video touched me so much. I went to his page and realized that this musician is engaged in gratitude and sings songs in rehabilitation centers and prisons, helping people not to lose hope and live. Helping people to fight. I found a photo with his mom, in a wheelchair... where he wrote how much he loves her. I read that since childhood he have been singing songs for himself to keep himself afloat. And now his songs and music are being treated all over the world. I couldn't get past it. I only knew about this musician from their song with Yelawolf and Straggle (Money)
But I've never listened before. I just included a few songs from the album WhitSitt Chapel and goosebumps just captured my heart. Probably the right time has come, and I miss such kind, but strong songs like his. This is Jelly Roll.

This one is what I call a lyric laxative.... meaning I had so much stress and sh*r bottled up inside for the entire work week and wanting to break down. I started drinking and drugging at 12 because my home life was non existent and i was attracted to people who didn’t have my best interest in mind,well i spent half of my life dancing with the devils i knew and it almost killed me several times and only by the grace of god that is amazing alive today because god put me in a situation where i was going to lose everything including my husband and children and i asked god to help me and I walked away from the drugs and alcohol with no rehab and that was back in 2008 and I’ve been sober since, god is wonderful and anyone struggling needs to ask for the help and watch him work his miracles 🙏🙏
I have never been able to correctly voice the reason I chose drugs over life in middle school. And I'm 29 now. But reading that comment. That's 100 percent how I felt. I looked to the wrong people who cool and who I wanted to be because I wanted to be someone completely different because I did not like myself. And I realize now I feel like there is no second chance and it's to late.
