Just wanted to share my two cents about something that helped me improve my speaking skills.
I am a person who plays online multiplayer games a lot. Sometimes, I connect my game to American, European or Australian(Oceania) servers to play with native English speakers. It has improved my ability to understand and respond quickly, or to just engage in casual talk, while being clear enough for them to understand what I'm saying (very important. Terrible, slow communication can ruin the game).
Edit: I ended up scoring 8 band.

The accusation stemming from majority in the comments concerns with the idea that he memorized the answers and it sounds robotic. Although it is probable he memorized the responses, I assume the robotic tone is justifiable on account of the fact that the exam necessitates accuracy which is causing him to remain circumspect while speaking.
