This event has been super exciting for me. It has been the highlight of my return to Neopets after a cancer diagnosis. I was able to help others by restocking and gifting the items needed for the faerie quests, but also made a profit from the items that I sold that no one (on the specific chat I was on) needed when I managed to restock them. I can’t believe the amount of people arguing…. seriously, most of us are adults playing Neopets. Most of us are acting like children still. I saw no problem if people wanted to restock the inflated items and sell them… it’s not cheating and it is no different to normal restocking. The goal of Neopets is IMO to make NP so you can customise your pets, collect items, avatars etc. It shouldn’t matter how people do this, as long as they are not cheating. I also saw no issue with people restocking and gifting the items either. I did both anyway. 😂
I think I was in a similar boat as you, I gave away what I could and sold the rest... I am out here with a clown nose on buying 20k omelettes for my daily capsules though hahaha. I should have prepared better tbh.

I bought 2m worth of items (200 items at 10k each) on day 2 of recycling for the recycling part because of the inflation… I knew it would get worse so I wanted to buy everything before it went up more but I made 5m from the faerie quest inflation even with giving away a fair bit! I just started playing again like a month ago so I didn’t have time to prepare. To be fair I don’t think anyone could have! TNT changed the rules and I am glad they did!
im proud of the neopets team for this decision, if they have people happy, going back to play again, like the inflation right now is horrible with the bots slarppers so now we have a way to make the average player actually have fun as well
The faeirie festival has been pretty fun to play so far, I was wondering if anyone knows where to get the faerie draik plush or where it would be on sale? i checked the neopets merch site its not on there and it looks like it was mainly a give away, oh and i mean the RL plush not in game
