Going to try this strategy out. Have been in a little CARS slump and naturally not the best reader. But looking at the questions before hand to kind of prime yourself for what is about to come is a great way to help pick up the "important" aspects of each passage
This video was amazing, very easy to understand and def helps me out with my approach to CARS. I would really appreciate if you could do a similar video for FL4 CARS passage 9. Thank you so much :)
@@Mahdi25009 figured have you been using some of his techniques? Im trynna bump up from a 126 to a 130 so Im hoping this plus some other tips I saw will help
In question 5, I don't really understand why we're assuming that he wants to draw like children when we could also assume that he wants to draw in a way that resembles Beethoven (which uses understanding). If he is made to draw in a more intuitive way by others, doesn't that contradict his childhood artwork that was very "literal and precise"?
the question is asking which of the art forms align's with Picasso's personal goals. In the passage, Picasso explicitly states that he spends his whole life learning to draw childlike and he's never had that quality naturally. Picasso himself refers to childlike spontaneity as a "genius" he did not have. So, the way that he was working towards changing that, indicates that it was a personal goal of his. The understanding vs. nature argument is Apollinaire's interpretation of Picasso's progression since the author says "Apollionaire asserted" and "but said Apollinaire he was..." in that paragraph
Oh my gosh, this video helped me out so much. I was originally scoring 40-50% on these passages and now I’m scoring 90-100%. Thank you!
