Maybe, one day WG gonna make this a reward tank for an event! You know WG don't give OP tank as a reward. They usually choose average and below average tanks for the free event. I have that feeling that, they gonna make TS-5 a reward tank in the future.

You should seat behind heavies and abuse your 3k dpm on this thing, the presentation video clearly says that the tank can opt to go frontline, but is no where near a t95 so it is mostly a "it can but you shouldnt".

I don't get what's with WG and giving broken gold pen to premiums. Why is every premium having idiot proof ammo. Tho I support that they didn't make it all red. At the end of the day no heavy tank in tier VIII is all red except hatch. Ah actually Tiger II lmao if you are not using gold.
This is a rather bad TD. It has less effective armor than the Jadgtiger 8.8, it's slower, and it has less DPM. So basically just get a Jadgtiger 8.8 and kick this to the curb. Between the turret (which should not be there) and the lower plate this thing has no effective armor.
By just seeing a few games on youtube, unless this tank gets like 8 deg of gun depression. Then its not balanced. Its just trash. Either increased gun depression, or a much much smaller lower plate. This tank has nothing going for it, other than dpm. T28 at least can perform a push and you know that people would have to load gold, if they don't wanna aim for your weak spots. This tank if exposed, is done for. I was expecting it to be something like an E 3 at tier 8, considering the lower plate weakness, but nope. Just a garbage tank with 2 glaring weak spots, that everybody and there mother can pen with standard ammo. And on top of that. Tanks like T 34 running calibrated, will be able to punch through your cheeks even. Lowe as well. I think it has 310+ apcr pen with cali?. Not that it need it though, cause the gun is so accurate that can snipe capulas all day long.
@@cursednapmiuq2571 T 28 has no lower plate weak spot though. And all you have to do is point your armor towards the enemy. T 28 plays like a T 95. Not an E 3. Ts 5 on the other hands, plays exactly like an E 3. Ridge line fighting. Well, at least it should have. TS 5 feels completely out of place, and it has no clue what it wants to be. Its neither a ridge line fighter due to the lack of gun depression, nor a wall of steel that you need prammo to pen it frontally even while fully exposed. So i can't actually agree that its a T 28 , but just modified a little. Cause it plays nothing like it. All this tank needs, is gun depression and a 460 alpha canon. Doesn't really matter if they cut down the dpm either. It needs to fill a role on the battle field. And its not a jack of all trades either. Its just plain an utter garbage in my opinion.

And you're just saying the Ts 5 doesn't play like T28 because you want it to be like the E3, right? Well it isn't, it doesn't have the gun dep to be like it. And so it plays like the t28, kinda like a sitting duck when in the open..

The badger and E3 have identical play style, I.e hide lower plate on a ridge line, and you are good to go. So if you know how to play one tank, you know how to play with the other one as well. Having no gun depression means nothing. Cause at the end of the day, you're still gonna take you tank in those positions that your armor works best. And as for the TS 5. Like I already said in my previous post, it can't do any of the short. It can't play like the T 28 cause of the massive lower plate. It can't go hull down because gun depression is abysmal, so lower plate sticks out 99% of the time. Basically, this tank has the weaknesses of a T 28, like the cupolas, and also a glaring weak lower plate like the badger or an E 3 which it can't hide. So it takes the worst parts of both worlds, with nothing to compensate for it. Droodles was roasting the T 28 as one of the worst tanks in the game for a long time, and here we are. Calling a tank that's even worse balanced. Which I know for a fact that he doesn't believe any of what he says in this review. You can tell in the second game that he just wants to rage, cause he tried to do what ever he could to make the tank work based on its armor profile and yet he couldn't. He is just being nice because he doesn't wanna insult WG. So again. This tank is nothing like a T 28, cause the armor profile is completely different and so is the play style. Just because they have the same gun and gun characteristics means nothing. If only, it highlights how useless WG is, for making such a garbage tank and selling it in crates.
