    I am so glad to see you doing a full page coloring. I am tired of the small individual colorings that don't have much creativity. This is simple yet stunning. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

      Ohh do you mean the pages that have multiple small pictures? I haven't tried any of them yet. I think all I've done in this book so far are the full pages haha 🤗

      Yup, please stay with the full pages, they are so much more creative @@MyColourfulCountryLife

    Thought I was crazy. I packed up just the listed colors and thought I forgot some but rechecked the listed numbers and they weren’t listed, ie 1087, 1006, 905, 904, 289, 105, & 103. Love this colour along though. Thank you

    I am almost finished with this! It's beautiful! It was hard to see what you were doing with the folk art glitter because the brush was big. Were you filling in the bubbles completely or just putting a touch in the bubbles? Also, is there a reason you used big sponge brush for that step? Oh and about how many sprays of the shimmer? LolThanks!

    Did you spray the entire page with sealer before you colored with pencils? You are a beautiful colorist!

      Thank you so much, I sure did. Just make sure it's a workable fixative though so you can still keep working with the paper 😁

    Did you spray with fixative before you started coloring? In order to keep the chalk background from rubbing off?

    • @MyColourfulCountryLife
      @MyColourfulCountryLife  2 месяца назад +1

      I spray with a workable fixative after using pastels and then again when the page is complete 😁

    Im sorry, im new to coloring and here. What exactly are you doing with the soft pastels in the background? Its off camera. Did you scrape the with a knife or are you just rubbing the tool on the pastel stick?

    • @MyColourfulCountryLife
      @MyColourfulCountryLife  6 месяцев назад

      Hi 👋🏼 I scrape the colour off with a craft knife onto a palette and then pick the colour up from the palette. I use the Caran d'Ache palette 😁

    Is Muted Turquoise a pretty colour? I don’t have it and Michael’s doesn’t sell it open stock. It sounds like a colour I would use often, but I rarely see it used in tutorials on YT.

    Beautiful, thank you! Could you please tell me what is the name of the tool you used to apply the pastel on the background and can it be found on Amazon?

    • @MyColourfulCountryLife
      @MyColourfulCountryLife  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! Yes I’m using a dupe for the PanPastel sofft tools. My set are the ones tagged in my Amazon UK storefront but I have similar brands tagged in my other storefronts 😁

    😍I cannot find that Lavender color. It’s not in the 150 set. I can’t find it individually online or instore. I only see it in the botanical garden set and I have everyone of those colors but the lavender 😩😩. Do you have a comparison color with castle arts?

    • @chrissynovful
      @chrissynovful 7 месяцев назад

      They’ve probably all sold out after being discontinued. Lilac and lavender have been replaced with orchid and amethyst

    • @TheHobbyistStation
      @TheHobbyistStation 7 месяцев назад

      Ahh ok. Thanks. I settled for amethyst. I picked it up from the store today. I also grabbed orchid and dark purple.

      Hi lovely, this is a great reminder for me to start using the new colours more! So, both lavender and lilac have been discontinued and have been replaced with orchid and amethyst. They're pretty good dupes, I have a video on the channel showing the differences. But if you don't have the new colours, check out my conversion chart for a dupe in your Castle Arts (the chart is on my website, and Facebook group and ko-fi and it's a free download).
