Love the happiness on your face Erika when you were inside that gondola. :) Looks like you had lots of fun in Verbier. I have never been, but would love to visit. ;)

Aww, thanks!😄 I don't know why, but mountains make me so happy, just love them! Maybe you have similar feelings?
It's a beautiful place and we would really recommend it, I think this was our best winter walk in Switzerland (views wise). They also have a zip line going from Mont Fort, which looks great. We were meant to do it but the weather changed and they cancelled our reservation.😢
The two downsides to mention though are that Verbier is quite expensive (the lifts in particular) but at the same time many lifts are very out-dated, which I think might be a problem if you wanted to ski as well.

      @@OurSwissAdventure Yes, I can definitely relate. 😀
Then it is like many other Swiss ski resorts. 😀 I feel like so many of them would need upgrade in terms of lifts.

When I asked about it, someone told me that it's charming and gives nice style to it.😂 I mean it's okay to ride up in a tiny metal box from the 80s once for going on a hike, but doing it over and over with your skis and boots doesn't seem so fun to me personally.😂
So in this aspect we prefer the Austrian approach to skiing infrastructure.😄

Hello can I still do the winterwalk in April 20 onwards in Switzerland in verbier. It's just I want to experience snow because I haven't experienced it before because I live in a tropical country.

It's a bit difficult to say, but I found this webcam that is at Les Ruinettes (one of the hike points) www.teleport.io/view?feedId=zrrxhkayanlbdg8zudsm&view=full If you click on the three lines next to 'Line image', you'll have an option of clicking 'history' and put in any past date. It looks like for the 20th of April this year there was still some snow around, but the path was probably mostly snow free and quite muddy.
If you are seriously considering visiting Verbier, I would recommend you to contact the Verbier tourist office and ask them all your questions about the snow levels. You need to also check if the lifts that take you up to the mountain are still working in April. www.verbier.ch/winter/tourist-offices/
I would also look into other places in Switzerland for your trip. For example, you could take the train up to Jungfraujoch. There will definitely be snow there and you get to see the Aletsch glacier from there. The train is quite expensive, but I think it would make a memorable first snow experience for you. www.jungfrau.ch/en-gb/
If you plan your trip to include Jungfraujoch, you can then stay in Interlaken or Grindelwald, which are located in a very beautiful area. 😊
