How We Care For Our Ambassador Grey-Crowned Cranes

Check out another creative way keepers are caring for our birds while they’re currently behind the scenes to protect them from avian influenza. For the last few months, our animal ambassador keepers have been using the halls of our new Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Animal Hospital as a way for our ambassador grey-crowned cranes to get their exercise in and remain in tip-top shape. We’re hopeful that our birds can safely return to their outdoor habitats soon, but our keepers are dedicated to ensuring they receive the best possible care while inside!
