Just left this site. Have booked up for 37 nights from September into October next year. Works out at €31 per night which we feel is more than worth it, just for that wonderful view and being so close to Collioure. Gorgeous places to visit in the vicinity, including Cadaques down the corniche into Spain. The pyrenees, Perpignan, Carcassonne and, for that bit of Blackpool tack in the Sun, Argeles sur Mer. Not to mention some of the other fabulous inland towns. Getting out, we watched another caravanner turn left off the pitch, drive around the little "roundabout"... admittedly, took a bit of skilful driving and then back up the hill. We then copied. Had worse access roads in Italy, the worse being in the Cinque Terre where we had to slowly limp the caravan along with the motor mover. There is also a swimming pool by the shop, with slides etc, but we far prefer that gorgeous vermillion sea.
It looks like there are quite a few pitches that you could get your twin axle onto Graham, not just the four they have designated. Do you know if their twin axle rule is based on length, or just axles? I often wonder if sites with this rule are thinking of the big German twin axles which are much longer than our UK ones, as many European single axle vans are the same length as your twin.
Thanks for watching. I had the same thought. I was going to ask at reception, but as we're not likely to go back I didn't bother. There were some more suitable pitches for a twin axle. What they do is say (on the website) if you have a twin axle you need to go onto a premium pitch (with 2 chairs and a outside fridge). Not sure I saw any other twin axles? Actually there weren't many British number plates down there at all and noticeably more French.
Both videos I’ve watched have been good, and worth a subscribe… But the LFC cap seals the deal. We may well check out some of the sites you have reviewed this coming September. YNWA
Lovely located site. Looks like a good option outside the main season when the prices calm down. That pitch looks a challenge to get the van in and out.
Thanks for watching. It was a challenge, however, over the 2 weeks we were there I'd convinced myself I could turn right at the end of the row of caravans. So, I tried. Almost grounded the caravan at the back as it was too steep. Had to reverse and turn left down to that roundabout from hell. For that reason alone I probably wouldn't go back.
Hi hope your holiday is going great. Just a small question, when towing along the flat, how many miles per gallon are you getting. As we are thinking of changing our car and pull the same design caravan as you. I really love that area of France as its got such variety, in places to explore and views to see. When we come back home supermarkets seem dull in England compared to the French ones! Let your passion take you to nice places (driving on the RIGHT when in France)
It’s funny we have not been on a big site for years as we only use 5 van CL’s. Seeing you walk round and how close the pitches were made me feel claustrophobic. I suppose I am so used the open space on a CL. Looked a nice site though but the only complaint I would have is the steep climb down to the beach as we have a dog who loves his run on the beach.
Thanks for watching. Yeah the way I had to edit it means the fridge update is in the next vlog. Oh yes French is coming on leaps and bounds “baguette” 😁
Thanks for watching Colin. The whole site was a challenge. I had to turn the caravan through a 180 turn with the movers and the pitch was as wide as the caravan is long...
Thanks for watching Paul. Yes, fantastic views, but twice the price we'd normally pay at a site just around the coast. I think we'll have a change next year, assuming the cost of living doesn't prevent it!
Thanks for watching. Ah yes, I said in this vlog I meant in this series ☹️I’ve done a separate vlog about the aircon. I talk about both in the next one too…
Looks a nice site but the price you told me I think we will give it a miss. Beech access looks like a bit of a mission . The site caught my eye everytime we passed. I'm glad you did the rekky for us 🤣
Thanks for watching. There were plenty of kids in the sea and there’s a pool. I was a bit surprised when this Dutch kid emerged from the sea with a harpoon 😳😱
Thanks for watching. Yes, as we hadn't been for a few years we did treat ourselves, just wondered what it would be like. The view alone was worth the price - once! Wouldn't do it again, just can't justify it...
Thanks for watching Stuart. Well, I did plan on expanding in that vlog. It'll be in the next one and it wasn't actually a fault with the fridge itself....

We used to love going into Colioure for the evening when we stayed in Argeles a few years back. Nice walk around video Graham👏👏
Thanks for watching. We love Collioure and Argeles
What a lovely place to be... really hope you've had a great time...... brilliant video as ever .. cheers Paolo and Roger aka 'The Camp Caravanners'

Not sure about on the flat, but average for the whole trip was 21.7 mpg
Stunning 😍 😍 😍 🍾🍾🍾
When are you releasing the caravan vlogger budgie smugglers for French campsites ?
I’d never get it past you tube’s advertising code 😅

Lovely site, fantastic view from your pitch!
Cliff hanger !! What about the air con and fridge ?? What happened lol. Although impressed with your French Graham !
Thanks for watching. Yeah the way I had to edit it means the fridge update is in the next vlog. Oh yes French is coming on leaps and bounds “baguette” 😁
I like you even more now .. you're a Liverpool fan!!!!!
A challenging reverse to your pitch without motor mover?
Thanks for watching Colin. The whole site was a challenge. I had to turn the caravan through a 180 turn with the movers and the pitch was as wide as the caravan is long...
What pitch number were you on
From memory it was pitch 60
Nice site. Had you thought about northern Spain as a change (although I do like France)
Thanks for watching. Yes we have, also Portugal
Nice view's from your pitch Graham
Thanks for watching Paul. Yes, fantastic views, but twice the price we'd normally pay at a site just around the coast. I think we'll have a change next year, assuming the cost of living doesn't prevent it!
You never told us about the air con and fridge

Thanks for watching Paul. No problem, I’ll send you my bill 🤣
@@CaravanVlogger 🤣🤣🤣
What was the price?

Nice mate.
Not very child friendly that rockery. Sure to keep you fit. Think I will stick to Greenacres in Porthmadog lovely site and beach
Thanks for watching. There were plenty of kids in the sea and there’s a pool. I was a bit surprised when this Dutch kid emerged from the sea with a harpoon 😳😱
Yep. Makes you a touch nervous when you’re snorkelling near these harpoon guys.
Beautiful looking site Graham. although as you say at a price,
Thanks for watching. Yes, as we hadn't been for a few years we did treat ourselves, just wondered what it would be like. The view alone was worth the price - once! Wouldn't do it again, just can't justify it...
Them railing looks rusty enjoy 👍
Thanks for watching Alan, yes, they were rusty, but solid enough 😆
You tease us about the fridge, but then don't say.... We know the luck you have with fridges.
Thanks for watching Stuart. Well, I did plan on expanding in that vlog. It'll be in the next one and it wasn't actually a fault with the fridge itself....
